2004 LS430 from Maryland

Hi guys, i'm new to VSC.
here's my ride with 20% tint windows
I'm saving money right now to get her some rims and stuff. Don't know if I should go for 19" or 20" because I'm planing to low her (not too low) also.
I heard 19" tires are more expensive than 20" ?

Any suggestion guys? Thanks much!

Congrats on the new whip. You should definitely go with 20s for the LS. Will fit the large profile of the car better.

Congrats on the new car, she's a beaut! I'd go with 20's on the ls. Kingpens 20's. You're right tires are cheaper, they'll fill the fenders up easier and look at home on the ls proportion wise. Downside, you'll have to put in more work to get as low as 19's and it's easier to bend a larger wheel/less sidewall.

Welcome to the site - car looks great, I have a 430 myself.

Because you plan on not going “too low”, I’d go with 20” wheels. I feel from a visual aspect that they look more fitting proportionally than 19s. However 19s look fantastic on 430s if they are pushing pebbles. I wouldn’t worry about tires prices, tires are expendable.

Also Kingpin the first white LS is on 20s not 19s =) Sorry I felt like being a prick.

hoangtoon , I wish you good fortune on your build.

really appreciate the replies guys!

yeah, I think 20" looks more fit than 19.
But I've seen pictures of LS430 with 19" they all look good.
So I guess I'm gonna go for 19". After that, maybe drop about 2" ???

I'm looking for some Work Euroline DH rims if anybody wanna sell =)

Hi guys, I'm back!
Yup finally got them wheels on. Took me about a month because UPS lost my package of spacers and I had to wait for a while for new ones to come.

The spacers came in today at noon and took me 2 hours of getting them all on (yeah I know I'm an amateur)

So here are some pics. The wheels kindda stick out 1/2 inch. That means later I have to roll fender and get some camber kit.

The question is, I don't know what coilovers I should get. I like Tein. It is comfort but can't go too low. Megan is too cheap and JIC is way too expensive. I'm planning to low about 3 inches or more

Any advice??? please help
thanks

Look at the Parts Shop MAX thread for coilovers. And who cares if Megans are cheap? They're decent and for the money hard to beat. MAX ones will run about 350 more than Megans.

A good start for sure! There is nothing wrong with Megans, I have had them on my car for about 1 year now and they are great, ride quality is awsome, and they go low enough. You'er going to be rethinking the camber arm idea once you find out how much they cost...you are looking at $1500 or so for upper arms and that only one end of the car (front or back).

hehe I like 19" better =)

Yeah I guess I should go for Megan so I can still have some money for camber kits. These stuff sure cost a fortune. :pat:
I want to tuck them wheels. Anybody here know about them control arms for my car? Please advise!!!!
Which one is good and where to get it from? (maybe some trusted website)
I think my car has OEM front camber, gotta double check on that

Thanks for your replies guys
