Praying for all of our members / friends / families / colleagues in Japan

Just wanted to send out a prayer to all of our members / friends / family / colleagues / companies / and Japan as a whole.

That 8.8 Earthquake is no joke. All the aftershocks are at least 6.5 and even hitting as high as 7.4!

Please be safe. Our prayers go out to you

Be safe everyone. The airport and farm videos look terrifying. CNN just released that Between 200 to 300 bodies were found in the Japanese coastal city of Sendai. I'm very sad for everyone and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

The videos are horrendous !!!!

We're praying for all those who are impacted.....I cannot even imagine what it's like over there. I tried contacting a few friends in Japan...no luck.

Pray for those on the west coast too....

We had a scare here in Hawaii, but aside from some property damage on coastal area's, pretty much nothing happened. So sad looking at the footage of Japan :(

I think I read yesterday that there are approx 10,000 deaths. I am not sure but I think that number includes those who are missing as well.

I can't believe the number of retards saying 'this is what they get for pearl harbor.' Pretty sure that 2 atom bombs is what they got for pearl harbor. I really hope there are not further complications with the nuclear reactor, the steps they are taking right now with it are a serious concern, if they start pumping liquid nitrogen into the core i'll be REALLY concerned. Very horrible tragedy for the japanese people.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the Tsunami. I lived in Japan for 5.5 yrs and met my wife there as well so this Majestic Country will hold a piece of my heart forever. Its such a horrific tragedy just to witness so I cant imagine what it must be like to be there. As each day passes, it seems to pour more salt on the wound. May God heal this land and bring forth even greater fruit.

So sad to see/hear/read what they went through
They're an amazing country and as yaQuzza said, a big influence to many of us, and that's speakin for more than this scene. If ya think about it, this island has impacted our society greatly. Sucks this happened to a part of them.
Best of luck to all those affected

Been trying to keep up to date on events.
Wishing for the best as well. Luckily my in-laws are not in danger of any threats. Best way to help is to donate what you can to any charity or organization supplying relief aid. The wife's work is holding a fundraiser this weekend and we will be helping out as much as we can. This will be a very hard incident to over come since the bombings. But the way the world is pitching in and helping out things will hopefully get better overtime. Proud to say I am glad to be alive to see how everyone with a decent head on thier shoulders is doing what they can to assist.

For now Tokyo is safe, apart from some panic buying and scheduled blackouts in the suburbs. Everyone i know is somewhat on edge due to the nuclear situation, and the threat of this triggering 'the big one' - an 8+ earthquake centred right on Tokyo.

I have been telling my family to ignore the sensationalist news reports of chernobyl type outcomes of this nuclear situation; yes its very, very bad but almost all recognised experts are saying that there is virtually no chance of the same thing happening here.

Dave (Onajihito - i gotta get back to your text, i changed my phone and left the other one at home so i didnt see it till now!) Glad you are ok, and that your family is good. Hope that the supplies shortages arent affecting you too badly...

I read an article on the front page of the LA Times today that made me cry. A husband and wife crouched over their 11 year old son who died with many of his class-mates. When I read how they pulled back the blanket to see him and stroked his body, I just lost it. This shit is still making me cry now, I can't comprehend it all. I kissed my son like 15 times this morning before I left, you never know when the things that matter most will be taken from you.

F.L.S. I hear you – this whole catastrophic affair has altered my appreciation for what I have. I have always been grateful but now much more. Every morsel of information that I receive through the news or friends with family there the more this story saddens me. Japan will convalesce and emerge stronger than prior.
