**WARNING** BUYER BEWARE KEEP AND EYE OUT!!!!

We just had a customer do a charge back to us.  He ordered 2 things with the intent to return one to get a different size according to him.  I told him to send it back and that we will get him another size.  Even though we dont do refunds or returns on special orders we wanted to get our customer the right thing.  As a result to it he kept 1 part of the order and did a charge back saying that he sent over everything.  At least send over everything if you trying to refund your damn money!


Watch out for this person and know that I have my lawyer working on this.

Then he asked me to show him how to remove his foglight. I told him I cant do that because then I'll have to charge. He got mad and tried reversing the charge on the work he authorized. Good thing I have a good merchant service.

You should be able to dipute the chargeback with your merchant service company.  I've had several customers try to pull shit like this and i've won all of the disputes.  Hopefully, the items that were ordered weigh a decent amount...if so, contact the shipper and utilize the tracking number to get the actual weight that they logged at their depot.  Then figure out how much each part weighs.  It'll be pretty obvious wether he shipped both things or not(if they aren't something extremely light).

yup - original weight shipped to him vs what he shipped back will show it was short shipped back to you.

As a former vendor on Bimmerpost and 6SpeedOnline, this is a pretty common move unfortunately. You will be able to dispute this as long as you can prove the transaction. I would recommend that you record all your calls going on forward since we've had a few instances where it was necessary to furnish proof in court.
