Body work advice

I am planning on getting another set of wheels shortly I would definitely love to push the fitment some more, however I have my fenders all the way shaved flat, and smooth on the inside. Aside from the possibility of the 2 layers of metal separating wouldn t this be ideal for pulling being a thinner, smoother surface for the roller to work and being that the paint is shaved off up to the edge of the fender I wouldn t in essence be folding the paint on the edge. has anyone pulled on a shaved fender like this with success and not had to repaint?? Any insight would be awesome.

Your question is not too clear...

If you dont have paint in the inside edge doesn't mean anything.

My thoughts on this:

1. If you pulled your fender already so much that the edge is pretty flat (as I am imagining from your description), it could be it is pulled out the max; if you haven't properly cut the edges of certain metal junctions along the edge of the wheel well (this varies from car to car) something will give in and it wont be pretty. If you pull more, it might dent the body [I][B]in[/B][/I] somewhere on top of the wheel well, or the edge of the wheel well might snap from the stress and would need to be re-welded.

2. If your question is more about  the paint by the edge of the wheel well, in the outside, you would still follow the process of heating up the edge in order to roll the fender more.

My fenders are only shaved, but I took a grinder and grinded the inside part completely flat so there is no lip at all inside. I would like to do a fender pull but I have heard that pulling using the fender roller may cause the fender to be wavy and the 2 layers of metal that make the fender, separate since there are no longer any welds. The inside has been touched up painted. I was hoping to find someone that has pulled a fender that has already been shaved in the manner mine is. Or is familiar with metal work.

Let me get this clear: you grinded the fender edge sharp, no edge at all, correct?
