Who do you think will make it to the Finals in the East and West?? I know the playoff just began but we had a few upsets in game one already. My predictions are Miami and Spurs in Finals lol

As a lifetime huge laker fan, I'd have to say Celtics take that one. Better bench players :shrug:

Dallas made it to the finals a few years back, Wade and shaq beat them. The knicks traded their whole team for Carmello, they have no bench other than Douglas. I dont expect them to win this year but I am happy with the fact that they are only losing by a couple points to the Celtics in Boston. If the series goes to 6 games, thats cool with me. They havnt been to the playoffs since the Spreewell days so I am just happy to have a team to route for this time of the year N your right about Gasol playing like a bitch, you might want to change the caption in your sig lol
Lakers vs. Mavs West. Lakers in 6 Heats vs. Bulls Bulls in 7 Lakers vs. Bulls Lakers in 6 that's how i predict it. Last night's game was aite. Steve Blake did an excellent job guarding CP3. LO and bynum did great. kobe and pau not so much.
And the Lakers are out. Phil Jackson would always talk so much smack to Mavs owner Mark Cuban over the years. Mark Cuban had some words to Phil and a cool aide smile when he approached him lol. That was Phils last game as coach. He had a great career but going down like that had to have hurt. You could tell he was upset by the way the Lakers were giving dirty fouls. I mean Artest is expected to do so but Odom and Bynum are not known for being dirty players. They really hate Dallas. A 2 time defending champ shouldn't go down as a sore loser IMO. They still got their core players (Bryant, Odom and Gasol), get them next year. Don't stoop to that level.
i'm from texas and i really hate the mavs. mark cuban has to be the biggest douche involved with the nba.
Other than the Knicks, the Mavs have always been my team since they had Jimmy Jackson, Jason Kidd and Jamal Mashburn. I like Mark Cuban because he acts like a normal guy. You would never know he was a billionaire. He wears t-shirts and jeans, never a suit

I was out at a bar last night and had to wake up at 530 this morning. I waited until the game was over before I went home. First overtime was at 1130, central, and I bailed to get some shut eye. Woke up this morning to find out they went into 3 overtime!! I missed out on a great game :sad:

Thats what sucks about being a star. You can dunk on scrubs every single game of the year but the moment they catch you slipping, it stays with you for a while, sometimes your whole career (Starks Dunking on Jordan). He got him nice and no denying he got slammed on but at the end of the day, he dunked on a guard. I doubt it that he would of done that to LeBron if he was standing at the same spot as Wade. When Miami loses a game in Miami, then they can panic. If they win one in Chicago, they are still in a good place. its a 7 game series and you know Lebron and Wade wont be cold every game.

I am not mad at Lebron and don't think anyone outside of Cleveland should be. He took the worst team in the league and made them the best team in the regular season almost every year. He put in 7 years of time in Cleveland and resigned to them once so its not like he left the first chance he could get. He took them to the finals once and they couldnt get him the help he needed cause who would want to play in Cleveland as a free agent? You have no value to trade for. You won't be getting much help from the draft and you cant trade your picks for much cause they are not worth anything. Best record in the league or close to it is like a 29th pick or higher. 1 player leaves and they are the worst team in the league? Even when Jordan left the first time for baseball, they were still a good playoff team. The cavs were no championship team and wont be, Lebron was just over achieving with them and fooling us to think they were a championship quality team. he did whats best for him, cant be mad. Dont feed into the media, they need a story with a villain. Dirk was Larry Bird tonight. 39 shots and he missed 3, thats crazy. I have no problem with him leaving Cleveland, he had every right to go where he wanted (hell if I was young and rich I'd wanna be in Miami too)but the way he did it was shitty, I believe he knew he was going to Miami all along.....so why have everyone hanging off ya balls, man up and say I'm not staying here I'm going to Miami instead of having everyone chasing you all summer Plus he is a sore loser....but acts a fool when he succeeds (show some humility sometimes )

I know Lebron would do it over if he had a second chance (not stay in clevland but tell them earlier). He didnt think he would get that much hate but if hes being mentioned all the time, thats more money for him. Kobe haters hate Kobe for similar reasons and he got his from the media for a few years but they moved onto Lebron. Kobe got rid of shaq then a year later was begging to be traded. Either way, I dont care about nothing thats done off the court. I like good basketball and watching the best players play. I'm no big Lebron fan either, just saying my opinion on the situation. Starks was a player I loved cause his D, he was the only one to slightly slow down Jordan but he could not shoot at all and that didnt stop him from taking 5-6 3s a game lol. That Rose dunk right now is up there with the Durrant dunk for best of the year. Damn, these playoffs are full of highlights

Not for nothing, they are not giving Dallas credit for making him choke. Dallas made Durrant, Brendan Roy, and Kobe Bryant all choke. Im really happy since I been routing for the Mavs for a minute as my backup team. Just saying, you have to look past the media on this one and don't jump on the bash Lebron James bandwagon. Dallas did their thing against all the top scorers in the league, it is not surprise they did it against Wade and Lebron since the Heat have no team or role players to step up big offensively or defensively. Next year, the Heat will be a problem once they upgrade 3-4 bums with decent role players and a center who just rebounds n blocks a shot or two
