it was a buddy of mines car...those wheels are 18x11 18x13 offset i think is -10 -11

^He had another CRAZY set of wheels too. I remember when he was trying to sell them nobody knew what to do with them hahaha, I was going to give it a try on my GS but after a messed up the back it was pointless to try and make it look nice again.

The President is the hottest car of that era for sure. I owe my alegences to lexus/toyota but DAMN those presidents are on FIRE

Not a regular pull.  He flipped the fender lips over and then pulled and smoothed.  Other work as well but viplife can provide more detail if he is still around.

The car was destroyed by the next owner with a "honda style widebody" kit.

felt like this guy need to be included. hella clean and in the running for sickest g50 (along with that lighter silver one) imo. hard to beat a sessions kitted g50.

And I can respect that opinion. The front fender vent is a bit much but the overall look of the car overpowers that for me.

I love that red car. Thats my favorite G50 as well.
 
As for why its running a spacer? I asked the same question on another forum. Here is what I am thinking.
 
A.) He could of bought the wheels new but then later on he wanted to make the car wider
 
B.) He could of bought the wheels new and had resale in the back of his mind (Higher offsets are usually easier to move)
 
C.) He could of bought the wheels used
D.) He thinks smaller lips look cleaner and give the car a stock luxury feel to it:shrug:

FYI- It's safe to say about a good 85-90% of cars you see in the mags are rockin spacers!
Even the really deep lip guys are!
But whatevers I still don't like em!
 
The work that went into that red one to get the 20s to fit like that and everything is gravy!

Yeah, that red G50 is on point.

Since we're talking red G50's, anyone have any info on this G50's add-on lip (kit?).  I think it looks clean.

oscar when u getting that g50 it seems like forever lol....now that mine is got i miss it somewat...it had no ac/powersteering/ the windows couldnt go down/ it rumbled/ and the leather was torn and it had bad gas mileage yet i still miss it lol

oscar isnever getting a g50 its here say! LOL!

the purple Q was a friend of mine's car that car o my we put alot of work in that car it had a rb25, with a 5 speed trans, that THING was crazy lol those where the good days

You know you could use the wood grain QX4 steering wheel. There's other models too from Nissan\Infiniti that you could use. Most Nissan's Infiniti's share the same splines.

late response, but it's a valid question.
 
as time has passed i have moved on from a lot of aspects of vip that were once appealing to me. extreme fitment (or extreme anything for that matter) and crazy body mods just aren't me. not knocking those who like it, and respect to those who do it well, but i don't feel like jumping out of a fully modded typical vip car would not be an accurate reflection of who i am. it's just a little too flashy/tacky/cheesey for me, especially considering current trends. rather than vip being a style to emulate it has become part of my eclectic inspiration for car building. i've always been into low, always into japanese cars, and now the flagships are IT for me. i find them beautiful, for the most part, in their original form and my approach these days is "taking out the ugly" (chip foose).

The one that does it for me is #27 silver with the conversion, that is sooo clean. Later.

kit is custom, based off aimgain i believe. mirrors are custom, no telling what car the blinker came from. headlights are modified jdm.
