sick as hell man!!!! that car right there had the body lines first that so many other auto makers tried to jock. bringing it down is gonna set it off just right. those corner lights just add so much appeal on that silver.

600 is crazy. they have one local with low low miles that i want so bad. i'm scared of it though. nice whip.
Thanks for the compliments. This is my 2nd 140 in 5years. And while things do need replacement every now and then, its nothing catastrophic like ECU and engine swaps. Just typical wear and tear items for an aging car Owning a w140 is not as terrible as everyone thinks. But its nice to not have to worry about closing assist pumps and self leveling systems. or how to open your car when your battery dies

Even if you change the springs in the rear, it would just lift right up. You need to crawl under the back and look for the rear sway bars. Our S600's are equipped with Self Leveling... They're is one "10mm" bolt that you can adjust on the rear. Its an actuator that levels the car up and down and is attached to the sway bar. When you losen that 10mm nut...and you move the bracket towards the front, it will lower the car... if you move the bracket towards the rear it will make the car sit higher. Just letting you know because I couldnt figure out how to do that for about 4 days and it just pissed me off lol. My car had a 1.5 in gap in the rear between the wheel and fender and the fronts were tucking lol.... :smiley-rofl:

Is it dropped yet? Hopefully you got everything checked out and don't need anything major cause you know some of the W140's had many problems. Probably best to get rid of the self leveling for a good slam. Benz hoods go straight up, lots of clearance to not bang your head on the grill. Man I'd like to have that V12 for a swap in one of my older Benz. =) Later.

Thanks for the compliments. I really wanted these tables so I bit the bullet and got them but they're brand new so I'm happy. Wish I could get a move on with this car though. So I will enjoy her again till the weekend and it's back to storage
