0 offset question

ey guys, im kinda a noob when it comes to wheels and offset :pat:

well, im looking into getting a set of EUROLINE DH's ...
but the offset is 0 . . .

i have a 2gs on megan coils... and i was wondering...
would 0 offset be poking too much or too aggressive for the 2gs
if i dont plan on tucking?

since the wife is gonna be driving it also.. i dont want to scrape my kit =)
lemme know if u guys have any pic of 2gs with 0 offset wheels
and any suggestion is appreciated

The width is needed or we cant determine. A 0 offset 8.5" wheel and a 0 offset 12" wheel is a huge difference.

If I had to guess, the rears are 10" wide since thats the popular width. If so, you will need body work. You can get away with a fender roll/pull but your quarter panels will more times than not, dimple. Is fitting those wheels worth it? On coilovers (assuming the car is low but not tucking wheel) those specs will be pretty aggressive. A 19x10 +20 on coilovers is what most are running so thats close to an inch difference

I'd expect more than an inch of poke all around. Here are some pics of my old wheels with 0 offset, though wider, they should give you an idea.

Expect about 6mm less poke in the front and 1 inch less poke in the rear.

9.5 +-0 is too aggressive for the front of a 2gs. you will need adjustable camber arms in the front along with a shave / roll.

10 +-0 in the rear can work with some camber and an aggressive roll or shave. but like widebodyq said, you will more than likely get some dimples from rolling.

tire sizes will play a BIG part in your fitment. make sure you get tires that match your needs / wants for what you want out of your fitment.

jeebus pics dont work in your scenario. he had 10" width in the front and a 12" width out back.

if you wanna do a little more hw check rimtuck.com

The 2GS and the LS can take almost identical offset(recall waffes on mine and nick's car). Plus I did say

Expect about 6mm less poke in the front and 1 inch less poke in the rear.

to account for the less aggresive specs. Reading is fundemantal guys.

the waffes were tucking on your car and flush on mine. "almost identical" not found.
