I know AJ, I'm just kidding... I was just on craiglist looking at some cars that some years ago were my dream cars & now they're dirt cheap, lol... depreciation is what I hate the most about cars... that's why I love my 300zx, price only goes up.
 
Saw a couple of 2002-03 745s in the low from 11k-15k and the mileage wasnt bad either... If I get the M done so proper that I dont even wanna drive it that much, I might get one of this for a daily, need to see how reliable they're past 100k miles tho.
 
Saw an 06 CLS 500 for 22k with but that car doesnt even have a back up cam... I thought that car was gon b a classic when it came out but it's depreciating as fast as the U.S. debt is piling up.
 
But honestly I own one of my dream cars already, my 300zx... when I was a teenager I always thought my dream cars were a Z32, a 93 RX 7 & a MKIV Supra, the trifecta.

Dont remind me.  I will take a machine that will put my car back on the road instead

The journey is 75% of my fun...I would buy a RHD Daimler Century and start all over again.  I don't need to be big ballah.  I need to enjoy the build...buying something that cost that much would substantially limit the money to create what I'd really want.  A stock vehicle is not an extension of myself..

For instance...Or maybe an Aston Martin Vantage, Maserati Quattroporte...even now with the spending plan I have on the Aristo, it would take me up to the level of a 2 year old Maserati GranTurismo. I absolutely love that car :pat::pat:

at the time i really wanted to get out of my integra. i really wanted a e550 or an f350 dually. sometimes i wish i had gotten either one instead.


but now im in this same predicament, i really want something else. if i didnt have my car i would want a 350z (the bug is hitting me again) or a newer tahoe. dunno that i want the Z as its gonna be the same story with the lexus (2 seater that i cant drive it anywhere without having to worry about the roads etc etc) so i will prolly steer away from that (for now) and the newer tahoe i really like / want but nga with the price of gas iono if its a smart choice right now.

needless to say we all are going to stick to the cards we were dealt lol.

wow how much have you guys spent on your cars?   I think mine will be 20K total including buying the car.    With that money I think I'd save it and drive my civic around until I get a killer deal on something.

Another true statement. I think a lot of it has to do with ill desicion making. I am guilty of that too, but i try to get my money back on a lot of things i bought and changing up to.

To be honest I have come from all sorts of cars and I would never trade my vip for another car. VIP's have class and style you can trade for a stock car of your dreams or have you baby that you have poured blood sweat and tears into and never have that feeling of I did this or I built that.

Um currently have a 04 G coupe on coils, suspension all done, WORKS (-8 all around) and some other pieces here and there, I daily drive it, and about to sell the wheels.  The car has almost 92K miles on it. Honestly, I love it so much that I think the next I'll have to buy the next car and always keep this thing.  I'm driving it into the ground...at least until 200k, lol
