One of my favorites. Love that you went 18's too. Cant wait to see these on
Same car, the rear specs are almost identical to his old setup which is on James "vipdout" car. The fronts will need some work.

not sure how much these will help but...
18s seem to be the size of choice lately for those going for the "raw" look. personally, i'm glad to see this segment growing in the u.s. (doesn't get much love in japan apparently). i mean, i love vip for what it is, but as time goes on it's less and less for me. i like to see that guys are putting serious effort into getting low on timeless wheels and leaving it at that.

Thanks again fellas, Blk nailed it rite on the head what i was trying to acheive. Alot of thought and ideas went through my head on the choice of wheels and size, you are definately alot lower on 18's and I'm sure the other guys riding on 18's can agreee. I noticed rite away driving through the city, There are alot of streets that rise up in the middle just from the abuse the busses give, I hear alot more scrapeing going on =). I know im on air and I can raise the car if I want but the whole purpose of having fender and quarter body work done was to drive low and thats what I'm gonna do. And the reason for silver faces was to color match the car, I was getting bored with the same finish all the time. I hope to have more pics I can share shortly. I apreciate the feedback fellas here is one more of the rear

There are a few roads around here that are crowned like that and you have to move to one side so that you don't high center on them. I had 18's on my RL and it wasn't as low as yours but it was decently low and I had the same issues. I love the 18's and hope you stay with that diameter cause they look great and the car lower to the ground looks even better! I love the simple approach you have taken with your car. I am trying to achieve the same style with mine.

I personally think the new wheels are wack. You sell them ASAP.....to me. lol. just kidding.
I was really skeptical when u said u were going 18s but these are definitely very proper. And the offsets are pretty crazy. I guess that helps alot too. Stance is def alot meaner.

What's the difference with the survival of the lips? Coils or on Air? The stress is always going to be on the inner barrel due to the camber...
I think he'll be just fine due to the width of the wheels... (too wide to fit inside the typical pot hole)... tested and proven here in NYC roads...

what are the plans for the BC's?
I just installed mine, now waiting for shortened shock bodies so i can go lower.
Are you doing swift springs or are they doing custom valving and springs based on your requests?

so far so good, I went with the short bags this time. My ride height is 120 psi in the bags, its like having coil overs but being able to park on the ground. only downside is you lose alot of lift. with the front bags full up is about 2 finger space between the tire and fender so if you drive 4x4 this is not for you ( not directed towards you pancakes) this is just to give people a heads up. If you need your lift I recomend the regular aero sport bags. Which I think defeats the whole purpose of running coils with bags. Alot of my problems were riding low with the aero sport bag which was giving me too much rebound causing me to bottom out all the time and fuking my alignment up. hopefully this will correct my problem with going through tires every 1k miles. Oh and the ride is comfy as a mofo =)

18's homie, Im not a fan of tucking wheel the whole purpose was to ride low with being able to have the face of the wheel fully exposed. and yes the crossmember is on the ground in that picture so thats as low as she gets

That's wassup!
I have the same problem w/ mine. I ride to low to where there's little to no air in the bag so riding around there's almost no travel at times
My new set up coming is like yours coil+bag and I'm hoping I can jus adjust the collars low and have enough air play for rebound/travel adding to a more comfrotable ride.
I don't have the option for a shorter bag though, so I'm kinda praying that the bag it comes w/ will still allow for a lower height.
Good stuff! Thanks for the response:biggthumpup:
