Air Runner

Thinking to get a set of Air Runner for my 3GS but I'm confuse of which series of Air Runner kit should I go with ie. the basic kit, TC-5 series or the On the Ground series.

Just wondering if it is worth to get the TC-5 or the OTG? Or the basic kit is good enough?

If I'd get another bag-kit for my car, I would go with the TC-5. I've read a few reviews of it and got the impression that it's a very good bag setup. Although before ordering I'd wait for some of the cats rocking this to chime in.

otg all day. the total length adjustability will allow you to dial in the desired psi/ride height combo. without it you have to comprimise between the 2 or cross your fingers that it just happens to fall where you want it at the psi you want to ride at.

I'm plannig to ride at 7cm off the ground with 20", will the ride feel harsh at that kind of height?

it'll feel better on the otg than on the basic.

No. All the same shit, up and down. Don't make these people make things to complicated for you. At the end of the day, its gonna do the same thing

Well since u wanna ride that low all day. Then get otg, less likely to bottom out the shock while driving

 i personally don't feel like air runner is ever worth the money in comparison to ther options, but if i was to go ar for some reason it would have to be otg.

but i hardly see or hear air runner owner actually go for otg series. Is that mean that basic kit is more than enough?

How about the ksport compared to the air runner? The ksport kit looks good also and a little bit better on the price than air runner kit

Probably because it's a newer kit, not to mention the most expensive one they offer. If you're planning to ride 7cm off the ground, then I would suggest the OTG kit as well. More adjustability with that kit like OG said.

the ride on K sports kinda sucks:sad:
a buddy of mine has it and its no bueno for me.
I'd rather roll on coils

or you can hit up OG for cups + coils. stiff ride + lift ftw.

I've had my basic airrunner for over 4 years w/ no issues but now I'll be switching over to the OTG series in a few weeks or so. The basic airrunner allows me to ride pretty damn low (I'm already cracking oil pans and shit) but it's not comfortable at all at the height I ride at. The set up will only allow you to only ride so low before there's lil to no air in the bag for travel. So I'm hoping the OTG setup will help that by allowing me to lower the bag/strut play and allow for more pressure in the bag at a lower height for a better/lower ride height

If you want to ride as low as possible comfortably then OTG for sure!

I had the basic kit on my 2GS and it was to soft, like i would bottom out on things. I just switch to the TC-5 and i love them, u can adjust the stiffness while ur driving. i love the way my car handles now, im able to bank turns faster and just over feels better than the basic. i dont know much about the OTG kit. Hope that helped a lil.

Dont know why anyone would need the TC5 kit unless they are planning on driving the car hard.  Seems the OTG kit is what youd want if you just want to roll low and have a smooth ride.  The basic kit is fine for the most part unless you plan on driving fractions of an inch off the ground all the time.

I like air sus more for more ease on adjusting height. At least I can ride high when I wanted since the car is my daily.

I want the ride to be as smooth as possible as the car is my daily. I will be rolling around 3-4 inch off the ground for most of the time.

I just put AirRunner basic in my LS430 and at ride height Im maybe 3~4" (if that) off the ground and rides smoother than the stock air =)

Yup i  wouldnt buy air runner from anyone else!

How about UAS with coilovers? Does it function like AR on the ground series with extra adjustment on the coilovers to achieve lower stance with more comfort ride?

I don't know much about UAS with coils so can anyone share their experience when riding low(3~4" off the ground) with UAS and coils? How was the ride and is UAS reliable for daily driven since the car is my dd?

^ i think philly is the one to ask about this.   its def possible to set it up so that you can ride low with enough psi in the bag to have a stiff ride, but youll lose a lot of lift.
