New Daily Driven Ride Height! YAY!

I am finally sorta satisfied with my daily ride height...I just installed my BC Racing extreme drop kit. My setup is consist of a shortened casing and 18k/16k Swift racing springs. I had the ride comfort all the way at the stiffest settings also. Maybe I am just used to a stiff setup but I even think the 18/16 combo is too soft lol. As you all know I drive my car daily. I go to the midwest/east coast and the southern states fairly often and I can tell you that it is pretty comfortable. I do hear my 5zigen Fireball exhaust piping scrape every few seconds but its ok, I dont hear it as much since the piping is now flat Forum image haha. I am very satisfied with this setup. It has more potential to go loweeeerrr but for a daily I dont suggest you do it lol. Due to the stiff springs I haven't heard my control arms hit the upper strut mount area lol. Tire wear is obviously expected but you have to pay to play you know...I will be driving it at this height through Chicago and east coast winters. I was maybe an inch higher before driving it during the winter. Here are some pictures just to show the new ride height. Sorry about the messed up front bumper and dirty car...I just drove from DC to Chicago 2x within 2 weeks lol...enjoy!

Shits dope, and especially 'coz it's static and daily d

If I recall the bottom structure of the 2nd gen right, you should easily gain a inch clearance with your exhaust if you'd mod a bit of your bumper and exhaust hangers...

So your summer setup is also your winter setup? Do you atleast change your wheel/tire setup? Im about to be working on the east coast during winter and just looking for some advice on winter driving while flush/slammed.

Depends where on the east coast, anywhere above maryland/jersey you will want winter wheels no doubt. Furthermore you might want to raise to near stock height, but it depends on the year.

I'm in dc area and i can get away with stock wheels and stay slammed, its the salt and sand that you need to worry about, if they forecast any precipitation in the winter, salt and sand is everywhere....

That looks like Gato's old GS.

DD at that height is fun isn't it? I just hated hitting the UCA's...if you clearance them you're ride will be a lot smoother.

Wow, that's really nice. In my personal opinion, that's a perfect diameter and ride height for the GS.
