***My Mercedes W140 S500 Wald build....

....i finally got around to start the thread....some pics-the tires completely rest on the splash guard-will probably remove all...
when comletely lowered the front lower edge of bumper is 2 inches from ground....lowest point of side skirt is 1.5 inch from ground and rear bumper lowest point is 3 inches off the ground....exaust and oil pan barely touch the ground....last pic is my attempt to fit the wheel -which i think still seats on the inside of fender....will take car tomorrow to my friends body shop to pull all sides and sort any rubbing issues----i really want to keep these tires for more cushion--if not will have to go with a smaller size.....

Very happy.....rides same low or high...slow or fast.....very cushy but that's on stock wheels....I will pull fenders tommorow-if not enough I will end up doing what another member( Smitty)did to his fenders......I would say the car is way too low right now and probably will be higher with 20's.....

Wow they actually get more snow than Toronto ... :pat: i wonder how the Juice will operate at -20

between 40 beers ,lots of cutting and a big sledge hammer-the wheels finally fit....splash guards and almost everything underneth was gutted out....fenders where pulled to the max-at one point it seemed the headlights and tailights were about to pop out......the rears were pain in the arse to cut and hammer---the fronts were much easier.....led under fender also installed-see pic..and million led behind wheels with wireless remote also installed .....

Ouch..I don't quite understand why you had to go that extreme on the fenders?  The wheels don't look too far aggressive.  They really camber out that much when raised??  I guess it's nothing some metal bodywork can't fix later though.  What are your plans?  I can see this looking pretty sick if you do it right.

+1. Hopefully you have a nice paintless dent removal guy in your area that can fix some of the fender mishaps.

dent removal wont cut it...when install body kit will repaint all fenders....

dude, you murdered those fenders... I know the hammering part probably wasn't the best idea, so why didn't you just shave the fenders? You know, take a dremel or a cutoff wheel and cut the lip, then use a roller to pull the fenders.

But i gotta admit, those wheels look sexy on there.

Hydroholics cylinders use threaded sleeves. Therefore, you can raise the car in small increments if needed.

I mean like what if one day you were drunk and you was like fuggg it ima lay this bitch out snd press the buttonand BAM! lolz Well idk i haven't own an airride system yet.

Same principle as coilovers. You can set the lowest height via a threaded sleeve.

He could easily get away with just painting the rear quarter and bumper and lead it up the C pillar to the roof line...then blend it where it's difficult to notice.

you know.. I was thinking the same thing.. but wasnt sure if it would look right on it. I love the tuck he has going on. But maybe a smaller radius but keep the same arch style instead of a rounded one

Yes sir -gutted everything out...hit some wires and a factory hydraulic metal line on the way too...still have to seal the mess from rain getting in...
