Liberty VIP @ Import Evolution Car Show, Massachusetts...

Liberty basically started their Show presence 3 years ago at the Worchester, MA Import Evolution Car Show. It's one of the only shows that are still being heald indoor in the Northeast Section of the United States. The First show was just Chris (exclusiveonez), myself (fresh out the body shop) and Agim (fresh into the Bodyshop :smiley-rofl: )... We had such a great time and the show was so well organized by Javier-Electro and his staff that we decided to make this show every year. This year was no different. We rolled into the show with 8 Cars just as we did the year before. 
 
They gave us a prime location this year. It was a great time... The MA people are very friendly and welcoming even though most of us were wearing Yankee hats in Red Sox territory... :pat:... One member actually went looking for a fresh fitted the night before and he almost got his chicky eyes clawed out by the store clerk... :innoutrofl2:

The trophies in the back seats were our alibi when we got rolled up on in Connecticut while we all stopped and helped a team mate change a few tires at 11 pm... Cops were on edge cause it was 6 cars at a closed gas station changing a few tires on September 11th... :shrug:

I agree that the term "Shut it Down" was/is being misunderstood so we shouldn't use it here. We never intended to disrespect anyone by it. Some people consider it as us being cocky and egotistical... but every organization in the World think that they are the best... Builds comradery and unity to the Brand... it has nothing to do with any other organization... If anyone know us individually - personally, they would know that we aren't like that at all. We are just humble dudes with a little car swagg. 
 
I disagree on the whole judging at shows statement. They work off a judging point system. Numbers don't lie. A show queen will smash our cars every single time. But at least the shows are becoming hip to at least have a VIP category. When they do, they put VIP against VIP...  it's the VIP styled car's owners job to elegantly show and educate the judge during the judging process... You can't assume  that they are going to know what to look for in the 1 minute of him/her walking around the car while you spent months/years planning and building it... 
 
I also agree with the representing of the US vip movement... You're absolutely right... We need to push and develop a vip only car show... as what we are trying to do here on the Northeast with BLACK...

You gonna tell me that when you and rob rolled through the show at stockton college and had 150 people standing around the cars, that's not a SHUT DOWN?!?

This has nothing to do with us shutting down another squad, we aren't in to beef.  This has to do with the state of mind that we instill on a show.  Why was there 40-50 people around Ty's car at all times of the day?  Because he shut the show down.  Has nothing, nothING, NOTHING to do with judges.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having pride in your crew and it ls accomplishments .....I have never meet any of you guys in person and I believe you when you say you are humble cats.....but sometimes it doesn't come across like that (seems a lil egotistical at time's ) perception means a lot (even in big corporations ) I am in no way trying to be disrespectful but if u would like more people to get behind your movement /support your events you might wanna listen to what Jermaine is saying ........just my 2 cents

Every one just needs to relax , for real what is all the bickering about? I though this was a site for enthusiasts to learn and share what the whole scene is about, everytime I come on this site there is some bullshit going on in one of the Liberty threads. I understand there are people having beef between eachother but please everytime Liberty comes out of someones mouth that involves the whole crew, and I take it personally so if you have beef with a person please be a fucking man and tell that person how you feel, there is no need to bring a whole crew into this, people are acting like lil bitches. Everyone just needs to put the past behind them and use positive energy instead of negative, Lets move on fellas for real. It isnt that serious, we are talking cars here :pat:

I has no idea. I thought the pics were great. 

the term shut down does get redundant after a while and I can see how others have negativity to it. Like where ever we go, you better not be there cause will own you at a show. I am sure is how people take it.

But when you have that many cars in one group that are fairly equal, its going to draw attention to judges, and spectators alike. And foremost "shut down" is applied. 

Liberty and Refined Elegance accrue a certain level to be in that circle. To me, it just makes me go that much harder. I do not want to affiliate my self with your "crew" and dont take it the wrong way. But, IF i am going to attend shows, I  would rather go hard with my car and pit up against a big crew and "shut down" their trophies. Like who this guy? this guy comes in solo and wipes the plate clean.

Its like the crew here Team Menace. They are all well known by the community and judges, so they favor them and already know the level at which every car is attending to be judged.

Sure, Monkey Works was our drift crew. But the only thing we "shut down" was a mountain road or a restaurant lol. Elegant Chaos VIP CLUB, is a name that has come up but has no more than 3 members. SO we aint shuttin shit down anywhere no time soon.

And Agi could sell that Nobori Flag to all the VIP Liberty Fan boys that wish they were a member for millions Yen (seeing as the dollar is gay balls now). hahahahaha:innoutrofl2:

I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but we do that too.  We can roll out 2 or 3 deep and run shows that have only heard of VIP in a strip club.  You don't see the pics at those shows though because camera phone pics are wack.

im not singling you out here, nor i do i take offense by what youre saying...but its comments like these that starts this "drama"  by saying "we" (liberty) can roll out solo and still run shows is like saying liberty is on another level...iono it just comes off as a comparison to other cars/teams, even tho i know thats not what was intended

He said he likes coming to shows and flanking the opposition.  I said that happens a lot up here as well in so many words.
