Take it to the dealer....an alignment there isn't much more than anywhere else and they have all the correct programs etc.

Dont take it to the stealership... take it to firestone & get a lifetime alignment package, I have that on all my vehicles and I get any of my cars aligned whenever I please... I also have a lifetime balancing package btw. Those guys are great, are very professional nd KNOW what they're doing... for instance, with these results they would've pointed out to the problem right away (possibly bent control arm) without for you to hv to a forum nd ask that question, gl.

@Blitz Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to order some and see if that fixes the problem.
@Franklin Yeah i was kind of impressed with the printout myself. They seem to take care of their customers.
@ablanco0905 Thanks for the info I am going to price that out tonight and look into it. Seems like it would be worth it.

For sure man, before you buy anything make sure you know what you need, firestone should let you know what, if anything, is bent... and finally on the firestone.com website there's usually a coupon for like 10% off the lifetime alignment. And if you happen to be military or a veteran you also get a discount by showing your ID. Definitely worth it, I paid $139 for our truck but by the time I got the M it was like $169 nd I used my ID to get the discount...

blanco's experience with firestone may vary -- my local one doesn't even want to touch my car. it depends on the individual firestone and the individual tech

Sure, just like everything else in life... some ppl say Nissans are the worst cars ever & some ppl absolutely love them.
I use to own an Audi TT nd everybody outside of the VW/Audi community say they're a piece of crap yet I never had a problem with it... oh nd I'm no fanboi of anything.
Also if your car is stupid low and it's static I can definitely see them complaining as my buddy Mex have had problems with alignment shops because of it and imo that's very understandable. But even when I was on coilovers my local shop didnt hv a problem with me.
I recommend firestone because I've never had a problem with them, the price (for lifetime alignment & balancing) is killer & for the most part they know their ish... I've used them in 4 different states btw (military moves & vacationing) and it was the same experience for the most part, their only downside imo is that they dont deal with used tires, so everytime I deal with used tires I use mom & pops tire joints.

The thing that I hate the most about nissans is the MAF... Why couldn't they just gone MAP instead...

@Cheez, for sure man, experience does vary from franchise to franchise, sorry you havent hv a good experience with them... nonetheless, other major tire shops run lifetime alignments as well, might want to look into it, I know that saves me lots of money...
@OP, dude, the alignment shop should've told you what was wrong... nonetheless, carfax your car for any accidents (no all accidents appear on there though) nd visually inspect the undercarriage for anything bent... gl.

me my homies and my cousins take all our dumpt cars to brake check cuz that was the only lifetime one we could find with an in ground lift in our area. it really just depends on who's working that day and how knowledgeable they are. some of the guys are receptive to listening to what we tell them what to do, and some are arrogant and don't know shit. needless to say it's a relationship out of necessity. the techs are cool, but the service managers pretty much hate us and the feeling is mutual.
and wrd to blanco and them telling you. any good shop will try to sell you services and parts, whether you need it or not. :innoutrofl2:

Also ask a shop if they are gtr alignment certified. They have to get new
ramps. My local Nissan dealer has it. And they work with me and ask me for stuff too build a relationship otherwise it is more difficult and more expensive than it should be. I already have difficulty getting on the gtr rack can't imagine bein lower.
