RIP Brendan Kennedy thread......

Damn! Don't have a whole alot to say about what has happend but I was on FB this morning and saw all the RIP post going around, then finally learned that Liberty & VIPSTYLECARS.com lost a great family member & friend. Although there's many of us that didn't really know him or get to meet him, I thought it was only fitting that this man get his proper respects and have his on thread for us to all pay are respects and give our condolences.

I jus lost a really close friend of mine recently and this story of Brendan is just another reminder to me and should be to you that life is too short and too unexpected. All this BS we go through on forums w/ each other is weak cause at the end of the day, cars are material objects and jus like life, can be gone w/ the blink of the eye.

I am truly sadden for what has happend and ALL my respects, thoughts and prayers go out to Brendan, his family, and all thoughs that had the pleasure of knowing him.

RIP

That was a well written article about Brendan's character for those of us that never had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him.
Rest In Peace...and as a fellow rider and experiencing a near death crash myself I hope that everyone be safe out there whether it be on two or four wheels.

Man, I am still very saddened by the whole ordeal...I wish Brendan's family my condolences and hope they can get through this hard time. I talked to his brother and as i gave him my condolences over the phone, he not only thanked but wanted to make sure we know that they were not the only ones who lost him, but anyone who knew him and was his friend lost him as well. :(

I saw this on facebook a few days ago and it's really sad I didn't know the guy or ever speak to him, but regardless of what goes on on the forums, what club they are from, what coast they reside on, we are still a community here and we all lost someone. My prayers goes out to his family, his team members and anyone else who is mourning this loss. RIP Brendan, you are in a better place.

Thanks guys. I went up to the shop on Monday to get a professional video taken in his honor. We pulled off all kinds of stunts to get the car in an airport with planes landing and taking off only 10 feet away. I have to thank Dreamakers kustoms for making that happen and Kenny Cano for the video. It should be posted up tonight.

Here is what the stickers look like for those who asked on FB and the blog

they are $5 each. The pictures of the shirts are coming tomorrow, those are $20 each To get both or just one, paypal the funds to
sales@luxuryabstract.com

All funds go to the family. We already gave them a nice check but as you can imagine, this is expensive. No dollar amount can bring him back or replace him but it gives the family one less thing to stress over and shows them that people care.

PLYMOUTH —
In his hometown of Plymouth, Brendan Kennedy was known as “BK.” Whether it was working as a sous chef at East Bay Grille, playing golf at the Pinehills Country Club, showing off his customized Infiniti Q45 or spending time with his family, people who knew him say Kennedy always put others ahead of himself.
“Brendan was a very caring kid,” said his mother, Patricia Kennedy. “He would do anything for you and never even think twice if you needed a favor.”

The 26-year-old died Friday when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the Clark Road intersection of Route 3 in Plymouth. Kennedy, an avid motorcyclist, was thrown from his bike and was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.

“Very responsible and family oriented,” Patricia Kennedy said of her son. “Family always came first.”

Kennedy’s father died in 2008 and he dedicated himself to his brother, Davin, his mother said.

“He was more than just my brother,” Davin Kennedy said. “He was my best friend.”

“It was his dream to open his own restaurant, he and Davin talked about it all the time,” Patricia Kennedy, said. “He loved to cook and really seemed to find his calling behind the stove.”

Kennedy also took pride in being an uncle and older cousin.

“His little cousins absolutely adored him,” Patricia Kennedy said. “He would babysit, play football with them, take them sledding, they just meant so much to him.”

“He would stop everything just to spend time with them,” she said as she fought back tears. “But that’s just who Brendan was. He was always there for you.”
