You're missing a Fusa... that should be it!!! Lol... seriously tho, what's up with this? This is one of my all time fave cars btw.

No I'm not doing it VIP style at all. I love VIP style cars but it's just not for me. I'll post more pics as it has way more parts like a real admiration kit, Lowen hart bs5's and new hood and soon to be modded ls430 projectors. I was the 1st person in the USA with rear recling seats in their legend then my wife was the 2nd.

Thanks it's going more of a lux style then VIP. Getting the kit restored and then the whole car is getting repainted along with a few 1 off custom pieces.

Yea the car is going to be a shocker from what everyone says but those are my friends and fellow club members. There's almost a complete jdm spec minus the rhd done to the car from folding mirrors to the laser cut keys. Not counting all the custom pcs

Thank bruh. The jdm exclusive modle was g1 and g3 legends and yes this is the 1 with the rear reclining heated seats mine came from the Aplha legend but most think it's the alpha touring but they are in fact 2 diff modles the alpha was top of the line then the alpha touring.

The Legend set the trend for all cars in the 90s.  One of my favorite!!

That is amazing.  I always wanted one - especially a type 2 coupe.  Came close in getting one couple years ago as a daily driver, but the seller was kind of fishy. 

You should post some pictures up from the club.

I have 1 coupe in my collection right now but plan to get more. I want a black on black 6 speed coupe and a black on black 6 speed gs.

a 91 legend was my first car, and i loved it.  I am still sad that i never finished working on it....

^^^ you sir are  correct. only made in 93 or 94. i like the awkwardness of that whip. real funky...just needs to be blessed right is all. that one with redded out tails on say some mae crown jewels or something of the like would do it i think. for me anyways. always had a thing for the vigor. is the uber honda.

That vigor is very well themed, you wouldnt know it was a contemporary picture if it wasnt for the rx8 & the little mazda 3 in the background...

Ok a lil more about my car it started life as Acura legend perisian red with no sun roof clothe interior no wood and manul climate control. It used this because it was rare and nobody wanted to build it. I did the digital climate control swop, the jdm navi console swop the jdm rear reclining heated seat swop in witch was the 1st in the USA and jdm dual storage bin back deck swop. Most say I should of used a l or a ls modle lol but I had to prove them wrong.

IN to see finished product...I'm intrigued.

Thanks and so am I. The car is getting a total over haul I'm buying a brand new trans from the dealer then I'm rebuilding a whole motor with a lil wake up to it. The suspention is getting redone with d2 coil overs addco front and rear sway bars and all new bushings and camber kits. New exhaust system with headers and dual exhaust.

I'm at 7 legends right now and I have 1 coupe right now. I use to have a sc 300 but never got use to the interior but I may buy another 1.

Do you have the 3.5 swap yet? I used to do them. I'm sure you know the shop I used to work at.

No I didn't do the 3.5 swop I'm rebuilding a whole 3.2 type 2 not into racing or going fast in my legend I'm more into touring. But I have a few club members who have done the 3.5 hybrid swop. I may know the shop in ct that matt runs.

new part just came in for a more updated look on my kit? i never like how the Legend came with only a 1 exhaust and i dont like the admiration rear bumper for that same reason so ill cut the kit and i picked up a used ls46 rear bumper to make the fit a lot more on point!

yah im working on my 2dr 91 coupe i just got alot of things in the mail konig struts eibach coils, project kits r 40 lug nutz and pioneer avic d3 =P!!! feels like xmas only thing i paid for everything lol  ... 2 more days till my work wheels com in =P i just installed that coilovers on the legend 1.5 front and 1 in the back will post up pics soon.

 as far as lips go id get the kanimari lip kit for the 91-93 front bumpers but if not id buy a 94/95 coupe front bumper thats what i did to my coupe its a 92 ls.

It was my first project dealing with modding fiberglass myself....a royal pain !!!
 
The hardest part was under the foglights, cutout under the door, and the whole rear apron. 
 
I had no experience with fiberglass and I did it in my garage. The front was cut into about 10 pieces, sides about 3, and the rear about 6....then formed and molded it back together. 
 
I reall miss this car....right before I sold it, I was going to do the R34 tailight swap.

Oh man I bet it was hard. Still all in all that was and still is one the best g2 coupes done to this day I would have def bought that coupe from you had I knew it was up for sale.

Thanks I ended up finding a set of brand new Lowen Hart BS5's with ddc lips that a guy had setting in his garage that never had tires on mounted on them in 20's I scooped them for $580 shipped!

Yea to bad I would of been all over those. But i have few options I'm working on but can't do the fronts untill after my rims are rebarrled for a staggered set up. Would love futura design set up in purple or green but maybe.

Honestly, i'm just a sucker for anything the typical 5 spoke and chrome was just a bonus, now it's going to be difficult for me to switch to some real VIP wheels since i'm soo attached to these. Btw; Did Value Sports ever make a kit for the KA7?

 yes they did they made the type 1 and the type 2 is what its called  i can get pics if you want? ive never seen the ka9 with the a specs so it's a way diff look for the car trust me!

Hm..i ask because i saw the vigor kit from Value and my jaw dropped instantly so i was just curious on how the legend's side looks. Sure, post them! And what, no one's attempted the Aspecs on a KA9 yet, strange.... but yes thanks for the compliment. Currently, i'm just trying to focus on decking out with tons of accessories haha! Even though you say that, i will still keep on the DL until someone else rocks the same set up and then you can vouch for me =) I will probably end up choosing my lip/kit before i drop my car, because i've chosen 50 series tires to fill my fender gap and these wheels' appearance and offsets to hold me down for a while before i jump the VIP deep dish boat. By the way, which arm and leg did you give up for that admiration kit? :bowrofl: Wish i had that type of $$$ lol

The kit I got dirt cheap but I paid almost 2k to get it shipped to me lol. Yea I can't wait until all this body work is done

yes they did they are nice too. but as far as the shipping you only live once lol. in japan they charge by how much space you take up where here its by the weight and space lol.

 its gonn abe around 700 from them and yes im going wood steering wheel i put my mugen 1 up and having a custom 1 made.

It's working just fine I have it as a DVD screen for now but may end up using it as a carputer aka car computer screen when it go back in this time.

To my understanding,  guys with that set up either have it as a standalone screen for DVD's, Carputer, or JDM Navi with little to no benefits. Strange, I have yet to see anyone install a double din aftermarket navi in that slot, is there a reason why so? I think carputers are a little too extreme for any car, bu that's just me.

The way this console is built a din and a half may work but not a double and the relocation of the screen and top vents cause a challenge. Car computer would eliminate a lot of junk from a car IMO such as DVDs, when traveling, CDs, and a gps.

Ah i see, that's probably why i haven't seen anyone attempt to drop in a double din. All this time i thought that space was a full double din and puzzled me. Nowadays there are head units that does everything from A to Z, with a list of benefits we wouldn't think of. Importantly, an indash won't generate as much heat in the storage din compared to carputers and the last thing anyone needs is a whole bunch of heat + engine heat venting through = disaster.

Carputers towers are mounted in a place like mine will be in the trunk with a few extra fans to cool it down.

Yea t2 pistons with 02 RL caliper brackets. The purple D2 coil overs is like the purple pants on the hulk lol.

so had to put the project on hold for few but now its back on track i still have to go and get my new hood for this as its the same hood but way better and its brand new.

Well, no worries. The poor color choice, and terrible matching of the interior to the outside was enough. Factor in the poor workmanship, and you got a terrible P.O.S. on your hands. prolly the nicest car in your trailer park though :shrug: or crackhood
