New guy from Sweden
Hi!
I´ve just bought my self a Lexus LS 400 -92, and the plan is to give it the full vip treatment. I went over to England a week ago and bought it from a guy living just outside of London. I then drove it 1100miles (+ a 20hour long ferry ride) back home to northern Sweden.
The swedish vip-scene is almost non-existing, so thats why i´m joining this forum :)

Välkommen till VSC vän!
I bet the scene is as lousy there as it is here in Finland. It's time to do big things and bring a some VIPness into the local Scandinavian car culture. =)
Pics and upcoming plans?

The plans are air ride and new wheels for a start. But that has to wait until springtime, i´m a little uncertain about how and if the air rides going to work when it hits -30ºc (-22ºF)...? It may freeze up.

Well you don't see that hindering any trucks un-drivable in winter do you =)
You just gotta make sure that you got good water traps in use, so no moisture can get into the bags so that there wouldn't be any ice buildup. And of course verify from the bag manufacturer that the rubber used is sufficiently rated, so that it wouldn't rapture under pressure in our harsh winters. Although I really can't see any air bag manufacturer using THAT bad compounds =)
And if I remember right the Finish distributor of D2 Racing assured me that there wouldn't be any structural problems when using their air susp. setup in the winter.

Yay! If we can get a couple more VIP enthusiasts into the North/East Europe region, maybe we can organize a meet sometime 2012/2013 :runcoold:

That would be great, but for now i only know about 2 or 3 other vip-rides in Sweden.
But you are using D2 Racing stuff now then? They have distributors in Swden too so i´ve been thinking about giving them a call. Just have to make the car roadlegal first. Have to change the headlights and get all the paperwork sorted.

Yeah I ordered my D2 Air Suspension Deluxe kit a few months after it came available to the European market back in late -08.
Here in Finland there's a few proper vip rides and of course there are couple enthusiast in Norway and Estonia as well, so maybe we can whip something up... maybe on the side of one of the Gatebil events
