may not be the best "time" for pics, but jeezus man, at least attempt to get the whole car in the picture.
there isnt a single picture there thats even useable, or that doesnt have some part of the car chopped off.

thnx joey looks great.
what size and offset would you guys recommend to sit very flush.
don't want the wheels to in much more maybe 10 mm . because of the wishbone suspension wheels are already pretty close to it at 18x7.5 plus 40. but i would like to come out more. ditch the wheels? get new ones? or add some spacers?

You're wearing sizing that's conservative even for a Protege ;)
Try something more like 18x8 +20

for the time being i would get 5mm spacers
just to see where it lays.
then u can figure out what u wanna do.
u might wanna look into some multi piece wheels
because they look a lot better than 1 piece ones.
and with multipiece, u will have more options in widths
and offsets.

post some pics up. i had springs on my old car. i vowed never to go that route again. lowering springs without adjustable struts agx or konis or illumina's are terrible. ill be installing coilovers for the 91-97 accord in a few weeks. the part numbers for the struts are the same so im sure the coilovers will fit.
