Rear sunshade motor (y33)

My rear sunshade doesn't want to go up anymore. Pretty bummed as I love this feature lol

Anyone know if it's the motor or what else could be stopping it? If it's the motor do you access it from the trunk or through the rear deck?

I dont have any input lol, but that's also one of my favorite features.

Dam I guess I got to stop abusing mine then lol. I love it & find myself showing it off all the time to everybody. I think you have to take the rear shelf off by having to pull the rear seats out.

I never touch it...     Does it make any noises at all when activated?   Did you check the fuse linked to it.    That should always be the first thing to check.

I need to double check the fuses, I just swapped some around because I I blew the dome light fuse doing leds.

But I'm almost positive it makes a noise I can't recall at this point. Gonna double check tonight if I can hear it move. If not, back to front foot well lol

I figured I burnt it out because I was showing everybody lol

rear screen is in alot of luxury cars... even my brothers E92 M3 has one... I dunno why

mine was stuck down due to dirt build up on the hinges, i wd40'd them and it was good to go again

maybe try some lithium grease or something since it smells less.
