Do It Myself: Rear Window Wing

Well, I really have been wanting a rear window wing for my car but the one I have seen available doesn't tickle my fancy.

Nice, I am curious to see how this turns out.

So are you making a flat piece or are you going to add pieces to the ends to raise it up? I've done it that way similar to what your doing and used foam before both work well.

The flat fiberglass piece you see in the pics is going to act as the mount for the wing. The FB will be trimmed out in the center leaving only the edges and the wing will attach to that. Then the FB piece will slide in under the rear window seal and VOILA! it should not fly away.

no updates on this ?!!

Sad to see this never got finished.. honestaly, it should only take few days to compleat one. I'm working on tables (yes, more than one) for my interior. Then ima build a front lip. After that, I might build a roof wing. Kinda wana do a custom grill also. Idk, one step at a time. I do hope this guy comes back and finishes his project.
