stupid people who honk cuz u go slow

What do u do when someone rides ur ass or honk when they pass u cuz u slow down to go over bumps? Ive gotten a honk every morning since ive been on coils when going over this bridge that is bein worked on. I was thinkin of a funny sticker to put on the back glass for those specific peoes....any ideas? Lol

Jus let them honk, get mad and speed around you. It's either fuck up your car/kit or slow down and make people wait. People need to learn patience anyways.

Well psychologically speaking when we step into our cars we feel that we are finally in control of something in an inevitably chaotic world. And more importantly we become anonymous. Do you ever see people speeding through a crowded road, cutting people off and forcing them to slam on their brakes??? Do you think this same person would drive a shopping cart the same way in the grocery store??Do you think they would treat their friends or family in such an inconsiderate manner?? Probably not . Because he/she is face to face with the people and therefore no longer anonymous.  So when these people are confronted with someone going slow in front of them it robs them of the illusion of control they thought they had. And of course the most primitive human reaction is anger(fear). So they get mad but they dont know why. All they know is that they have to gain back the illusion of control,  So they throw their hands in the air or lay on the horn or try to make some dangerous pass around you. I have had all these things happen on multiple occasions and if someone passes me on some double yellow road usually I pull up behind them a few seconds later at some red light. I have been riding low for about a year and been riding slammed for about a month, and Im beginning to realize that riding low is a style of car but it is also a style of life. When I wake up late for work do you think I jump in my car and drive all crazy to get there on time? Nope. I drive 5MPH under the speed limit as always because my shit looks do-pi-ty-dope. And if the boss gets all salty I just say look man, go out to the parking lot and peep my dope ass ride for a few minuets, youll feel better. 

I guess my advice to anybody is this: You cant control everything ,especially other people. So if you have some salty sour-patch bitch crying a river in your rearview mirror dont worry about it, or just pull over and let them pass. There is no need to risk damaging your car to keep other people happy. Driving low is a challenge and not everybody has the balls to do it. So man-up and go hit the streets in your low as gangster sedan gliding across the pavement like a fucking hockey puck.  Smile, wave , and let the haters eat shit. If you cant live with the compromises then go buy a truck.

I go slow and fast. I run these streets.. And the people on the streets need to mind me. Cause I mind them all day.

1st - my car is tinted and curtained, and its hard to see who and how many people are inside, 2nd - people usually slow down themselves to see me roll =), cuz they cant understand how this car moves :pat:

It all depends on the situation. They might be honking because you are actually causing a hazard by slowing down more than people expect (ala rear end waiting to happen). Or maybe they are just impatient or jerks. Who knows. I think the answer is pretty easy, try not to put yourself in that situation. Take another route? Avoid construction zones?

the bridge where i slow down is literally 1/8 mile before my workplace so there really is no other route and i slow down before i brake when coming to the bumps...i even tap my brakes a few times before hand as well. and its not rocket science when the original person behind me got in the left hand lane when they noticed i was slowin down but the person behind them just still goes by and honks. oh well, i ordered that plate frame. lol

Ahhh yeah cannot really help then. Maybe flash the hazards next time. Sounds like you are doing everything you can do to warn em, people so impatient on the roads these days.

Usually my music is goin, so I don't even listen to it.  But I wouldn't give a damn anyways...just shrug it off

I would hit the switches and make the car dance for them then drop it so sparks from the exhaust start flying.

If they really got on my nerves and knew the highway well, I would gun it to 120mph past them.  The Q is a beast on the highway, not so much on the street though.

lol no switches for me. its only a 45 road at that part of the road and i drop to atleast 20 a good bit before the bridge. i do live near ATL so people down here cant drive anyways.....haha

Never have, if they are is such a hurry go around, at the end of the day its not my heart attack over someone goin slow on a speed bump or bumps and mess up roads in general.  Its always polite to smile after they go around you, when you see there angry face :smiley-rofl:

so you dont slow down for big bumps and cut out sections in roads due to repaving in your acura? doubt it. so what was the point of that post? and no, not the same thing. a retard that consistantly drives 30mph under the posted speed limit is not the same as slowing for speed bumps and such obstacles that us low static drivers prefer not to tackle. lol

i dont get mad, i go around lol. i hate when people pull out in front of me and dont accelerate enough for me not to brake.

of course i drive slower over bumps...although i avoid bumps when possible, only bumps i come across are in parking lots which is where you drive slow anyway, 99% of the time i take everything head on, and i never come to a complete stop...

yeah, a lot of times i'll just hit shit head on because i'm scared the driver behind me isn't paying attention. bumper damage is preferable to getting rear ended haha

its only a 45mph zone and there are signs saying BUMP and the obvious visual of road construction going on. i dont come to a complete stop, i just slow down enough not to scrub like hell....which is under 20mph lol. not my problem, i hit the brakes to shine the lights a few times and slow down enough before the area for whoever behind me to get the clue. all in all, oh well lol

Lol, well... in my case, slowing down with a chance of getting rear ended is better than cracking an oil pan.
