A Family Affair - 11/19/11 @ original garage

We hosted a BBQ for a select group a couple weeks ago. It wasn't really a car meet or anything, just friends kickin' it. Of course we stepped up to the plate and tried to do it big. BBQ, beer, 1000 pounds of ice, a dyno, and some good company. Gonna grab pics/write ups from a couple different places:

I take it the shop is in lease/rental work shop area? There is a place like that near me I was going to pick up for zoned work.

yeah, it's a cheap/grimey little industrial complex on the edge of the city. i hate the property but the price and the neighbors make it worth it. for some reason nobody  got any pics of it but we had the dyno going in a neighboring shop (same shop that has the alignment rack we use), another neighbor cooked for us (60+ hamburgers, 60+ hotdogs, brisket, ribs, chicken, etc.), another neighbor donated a forged piston/rod for our high hp trophy, and another did some tig welding on it. i was pretty impressed by the little community we have going.

To me, that makes the shop better than anywhere else when you have awesome neighbors.  Great turnout though, too bad Jeeb's car looks retarded :smiley-rofl: :shrug:

That was actually just added before the meet, pancakes. It's still a work in progress. Waiting on the plates to add camber to the front then reduce the rear to match the front.

Looks like a blast..

Camber adapters are here already. Now we're waiting on some prototype studio traction rods.

yessir. khanh's car pretty much missed out for this year (my bad) so we have decided to go a little further in and debut it next year.

Looks like fun guys!! Those are the best kind of days.

those last 2 shots of jeebus and gatos rides are KILLER and khanhs ride looks like its shaping up to be a game changer

i had a great time. i got some pics of anis' car at the dyno, then came back put my cam down to start eating, i forgot i brought it the rest of the night. until we left to go to the strip club lol.

thats whats up! the people that would be my neighbors are kind of the same. upholsterer, a dyno, and a towing company lol

All your neighbors are really cool Mike, it was a great event.  Everyone was respective of each others property and they actually cleaned up after themselves.  It wasnt as bad of a clean up as I thought.  GG to all the new faces and old buddies who attended.  I had a ton of fun, the day started with dynos, beer, bbq, and friends then sherlocks for liquor and ended the night at the strip club.  Id say, that day was a good day :thumb:

Joe (mrexec) (props for scooping me up from the airport)and I showed up real late like 8pm. but the bbq was still warm for us. the grub was fire.
 
wish I had gotten there early to meet everyone that was there.
 
of course Mike OG did it big and I dont think anything was missing. they even had donuts lol
 
the highlight for me was seeing the Maz, that thing is incredible. the new height and the taillights was insane. love it.
