i've been thinking of coilovers + cups, 21x10.5 21x12's (i have a set of wheels that i'm going to rebarrel on hand already),  the mode ga-mu regalia kit, some ridiculous BBK setup (color-wise), and that'll be about it, i'd imagine. i want to keep the exhaust and interior stock. that's the plan anyway, and we all know how plans have a way of changing haha

I worked with Brian on the wheel sizes for this car. Unfortunately, he got scared at the last minute and went way less aggressive and 22s:sad:

OG, duly noted. i think i'm just going to lower it slightly. i do know of cats on clublexus running this controller pretty slammed since 07 and there don't seem to be any issues, but i'll be careful. i also have a pretty awesome lexus parts + labor hookup, so i'm just slightly less concerned :P

i have the air controller on my car as well as the lowering links.  it's going to hold me over for now considering i don't roll around that low anyway.

yeah i had a buddy of mine contact mode regarding that kit, and got a quote for about $6K or so, and he put in a call to tanabe usa about that loop exhaust to see if there were any plans for a release here.  

damn.  exhaust + kit = $10K, mode parfume isn't messing around.

yeah, i remember @ 7, it felt/sounded like the shocks weren't very durable and i was rubbing the rear inner fabric liner on my tires.  

i have the lowering links, but haven't driven my car in a couple weeks but the last i remember im @ superlow mode 5.  

I need to get an alignment done after having put in the skipper links, but I wanna wait until my wheels/tires arrive before putting the final touches on my alignment.

anyway, if things go to plan, we're going to prototype some RCA's for this thing, to get it lower before i blow a shock using the air controller. i also found a fuse that controls the air sus -- hopefully this car is setup like a ucf30 (where you can pull the fuse and run coilovers). fingers crossed; i'll know when i get the car back from the dealer.

nice! good to see it will continue to be modded. The wheels did look a bit haggard, but the overall fit and daily status makes it completely understandable. I am so close to just ordering coils and staying static...seein ur car did not help the situation.

nope. the pan on that thing is this amazing, beefy cast thing. also, you'll break the front crossmember/steering rack before you break the oil pan -- it's protected :D

the car does have factory air suspension (07-09 LWB cars, whether 460 or 600 all had air sus) and that's lowered 3-4" already, haha.

so i was pretty pissed at the dealership's treatment of me after i bought the car (the front bumper was misaligned when i took delivery. when they fixed it the first time, it looked like they fixed the two bumper clips that i complained about, but broke every other clip holding up the bumper. they also were super unresponsive, and the car was delivered 3 days after it was promised, etc., etc.) so i complained to lexus corporate -- $500 service and parts credit yatta! i ordered a new smart card key (which the previous owner broke and the selling dealer wouldn't fix, which made me mad too. why would i buy a cpo car if you're not going to fix shit? arrrr) and a nav update this morning.

yeah, the money has been taken out of my account already, haha. i'm imagining the AWD 460 is similar to the 600hl, but the 600/AWD 460s are different from RWD 460s. there are coilovers already for RWD cars

so i just got back from my friend's lexus dealership (at 2:17 in the morning haha). turns out the harness is being weird on the data systems controller, and that's why the car was throwing AFS/height sensor codes. the ECU wasn't seeing a reading from the front height sensors. interestingly enough, a quick multimeter read of the harness showed it was OK, and after we put everything back together, the error disappeared. must've been a loose pin somewhere. hmm.

we also put in the 10.1 nav update for this car. holy shit. 22 pages of instructions and 1 hour later, we were done haha. here's an in-progress shot:

i really like the half bumper kits for this car (which means i can run the cool oem hid optional fogs that i think 33flavors had at one time or another), but the vlene looks so stock and the rear bumper is my favorite out of every kit i've seen (except the mode one <3). the quad exhaust tips look so good on the car too

haha, the slits make it look more "aggressive" and "sporty". i think the color of the car is going to mask the matte black i'm going to paint the mesh in, which is cool.

anyway, this is going to be version one -- i have a feeling i'm going to end up with mode or something by the time i'm done with the car. the mode kit is just too sexy :P

in regards to your 'stock status cheeze, we all know where you've been and where you're going + the fact that your 'stock is still sh*tting on the game. is an accomplishment to upgrade into a whip like that. propps. can't even begin to speak on those whips depicted above but here it goes: look under on that frontal 3/4 shot @ the rear contact patch on that gs2. the one in front rekindled my love for te's. and that ls has gotta be the one i saw the other day off beach that replaced the gs holding down the computer repair shop or what ever it is there. looks like genetic's, no? we all need fitment like that.
