**New Wheel Designs for 2012**

Have you guys checked out some of these new designs coming out? I'm still upset that RAYS hasn't come out with a decent wheels design in a while but whatever.

Aimgain has also porduced several wheels for the 2012 season

not feeling any of those...cerberus is interesting tho, just cant see it on a modern car

$6K for LM-R's or $2800 for a set of SSR MS3's. Hmm the choices. I've never been a BBS fan (probably will get banned from the forum for this comment) They seem bland and over-priced to me.

I agree to some point. However some of BBS designs are untoucheble by others. Plus with your mentality, why buy name brand wheels when you can buy reps for fraction of the price?

Anyhoo, I don't think you can make the same argument with rep wheels.  BBS vs. SSR is quality vs. quality.  What makes BBS worth more than double the SSR is a question I also have?  Reps on the otherhand are almost guaranteed a huge sacrifice in quality.  
 
From my understanding, this is where the price differences are.
 
BBS = Forged centers, Forged barrels
SSR = Cast centers, Forged barrels
Reps = Cast centers, cast barrels
 
Scary part is when reps weigh almost the same as the forged wheels.  This just means that they will one day crack on you.

The look is similar but material and design is completely different.    I'm pretty sure there is a reason why BBS doesn't sell big lipped 3 piece wheels.

I think alot of the current but not new SSR Vienna wheels are pretty nice...especially the special colored ones.

i just realized that k-break has 2 different mesh with the same design. the works are similar to the level over delta k-breaks, but the work has hidden hardware and the spokes on the k-b are taller at the mounting flange. it's very possible that work is manufacturing the k-break wheels.

different strokes for different folks. people's priorities are different, everyone has their price.

depends on what size and application.   I had to buy a new set of 20" BBS LMs because it's specifically designed for the GT-R and not many used sets of those come up.   I actually just picked it up today and it was about 5200 with TPMS and no tires.  

At VRwheels there had to been atleast 6-8 sets of BBS LMs laying around used but all 17-18in

Thos wheels look so awesome... and on our cars we can really make it look good with the super low offsets we can run with step lip and still look deep

Those thin 5 spoke aimgain wheels are bad.  The black Q45 from AImgain rocks them the best though.

I'm still more partial to the SSR MS3 because of the step lip.. but Aimgain rim is pretty nice too...especially that color combo.

I've come to realize that (at least for me), I'm not that much of a fan of step lip on 33s. It's been brought to my attention that most of my favorite builds don't run step lip and the 33s that do run step lip, I don' t feel them as much. Maybe 2or 3 of them I probably say that step is dope

They are similar but still very far apart. Never seen those. Mine have reverse mount bolts for a cleaner look along with other design cues, such as the placement of lug nuts

the leon friedens are a take on the latest bmw m6 design. Looks cool but I prefer them in one piece mono version.
