This is a pic of the rear...the front is about the same. Small kine poke action.......but I was reassured that it is dooable. Personally like the "poke" look...it actually doesn't look that bad.....but with the laws here in Hawaii that would be like asking for a ticket.

Other than that, wheels look great. The only thing that bothers me on our previas is the gray moldings. I wish Toyota painted them already. By the way, what lateral rod are you using? Also can you take a front or rear pic...

^^^^Good question......I am not really sure...never bothered to measure it.  LOL  I wish I could run it with the "poke" but with the strict RECON laws here in Hawaii...unfortunately it is not an option.  Rather spend my money for my next modd.....not my citation.  Second reason that I learned the hard way was that in my work parking structure the wheels are getting cut up!  My rear passenger side has some pretty good slashes in her.  The rubber looks like strands of Spaghetti.  So for the time being the wheels were once again removed and rolling back on my generic 18's.

As for daytime pics........you ask and you shall receive....and look I actually remember to put on the caps this time.  LOL

so, sweet. on my van the teins didnt go that low in the rear.

Really?  It could be because I have the Jack in the trunk...but don't think that it makes that much a difference.  Weird because at this point it is cranked all the way down on all four corners.  I was debating to remove the rear "bump stop" to bring it down further.......but will probally pass up on that.

It is either run fenders, or roll, pull, stretch.  The poke isn't that bad so I maybe able to get away with just a roll and a pull.  We will have to see though.

Nice photoshop......if I could get that low then I could actually get away with not having to get a kit.  I think that I could go that low with an "easy street" air set up.  With that being said if I went that low I am sure that I would be sitting on the oil pan.  My current height would allow me to run a kit which in turn will mae the EGG look much lower.  So many options not enough money.

I picked up the TEIN Super Wagon from Shawnthemonster......how much did I pay for them again?  I forget........but am very happy with them.  Just wished that they could get lowered to the ground.  But if that were the case I would really be tearing up my tires.....maybe in the future I will go air......it is just about how far in the future.  LOL  Probally going to keep the coil-overs and do like a universal air type of set up.  Best of both worlds........the option of air and yet have the performance of Coil-overs.

hondaboi^^^^^^^yup that is "bottomed out" on the Coil-Overs already.  Wish It could go lower.  If I were to go Body Kit route the ride height that I am currently running is perfect I think.  It should fill up all the "space".  Only problem is that I already scrape my oil pan going into my work parking structure everyday.........without air don't even want to think of the beating the side skirts would take.  Air would be the best......but if I go air......then the kit will have to wait........but then again if I go kit and no air......I and going to beat up the kit.......so I think my answer is pretty much in front of me.....even though I don't want to spend more in the suspension.........probally got to go air.

the silkroad will go much lower in the front but the rear is pretty much the same...as for yoshi im in the same boat. i have a bodykiy, flares and nice wheels but for me to assemble it, all depends on when i get my air.

hey Sukoshiyoshi,

I am wondering with your 9" wide wheels on the front, when you turn left or right, do you rub in the inside wheel well? because with my 8" before, i rub sometimes. And on the back sliding door, it would actually hit the wheel.

Reason I ask is that im looking into getting 18's (currently have 17's). The size of the wheels are 18x9 39mm offset, and 18x10 and 43mm offset. I am for sure it will stickout/poke out, however if its a not that big, its ok...thats one of the reasons why I asked you (Sukoshiyoshi).

offtopic...with regards to getting camber on the rear, there is no possible way unless you do that swap thingy that Van (onetone) mentioned long time ago to me.?!

^^^^In regards to your questions.........the is no rubbing issues on the front.  It barely clears the suspension maybe 1/4 inch.....if even that.  There is a little contact with the plastic of the inner lining.  But with remove or simple cutting that problems should not be an issue.

As for the rear.....I am unable to use my sliding door because of the poke.  When I was running these wheels I had my daughter squeeze through the 1 1/2 foot opening.  Hopefully when I remount them on the ride I will will also have the sliding door hinges "extended" so I will have full sliding door use.  But until I get the fender work done these babies got so stay in the house along with my other set of wheels.

I am a bit hesistant to get a 10" wide wheel for the rear because of the door issues, and it might stick/poke out too much.

However I noticed that everyone (almost everybody), that has a previa get a 9/10 wide wheels (mike, shawn, and you), and with very low offsets..im just wondering how are you guys going to make them fit?!

What are your plans to make it fit?

Actually my wheels are going to be 19x8.5 all around +38 I believe. Nothing crazy but I think it would be just right. As far as door issues, its not really a problem. I haven't looked but maybe shawn knows if there is a long hinge available for LHD previas.

Look at me talking like it is easy........I have a "good samaritan" that will be helping me to make these wheels "fit".

As for the door hindge.........will probally need to get that custom fabricated.

^^^^^I got some good "professional" advice from a "Good Samaritan" whose wants to stay anonymous.  Now it is all about finding the time to make it fit.....with work, school, my work, my daughter, my work, my girlfriend, oh yeah did I mention that I work?  LOL  Hopefully in between all this I will get it done......it took my a couple of years to even get where I am at now.....scary to think how long this is all going to take.  I best hurry cause I ain't getting any younger!

What do you guys think of MRR Wheels? I like one of the designs they have, its HR3 I believe, and it only comes in 20" hahaha. I have not seen a 20" on a Previa yet. They come in widths of 8.5 and offsets of like 35-45.

Im tempted, but I dont know what you guys think? I have never heard of the brand before :)

They have similar designs to other wheels companies. Not a bad price as well.

Right now, I am back to stock wheels, but my springs have been cut hehe..2 coils front and 2 coils back :)

Pulling.......with the set up that I have just "rolling" (usually in reference to the lip of the fender) the fenders will not allow me to "fit" the wheels properly under the EGG.  There (probally) will still be a lot of "poke".  By pulling I am reffering while rolling you want to "stretch" out the fender and "pull" it outwards.  Kind of "molding" the metal work if you will.  I may even need to add metal work....but am keeping my fingers crossed that the roll, pull, and stretch will give me enough be able to update my RECON papers and be completely legal.  

Atleast this is my understanding......with the rolling, pulling, stretching........kind of like the same thing all wrapped up into one thing.  Anyone care to add their expertise?

do you have to repaint after you do this pulling? I mean, wont it make the fender not curvy smooth??

^^^^^with the fender pull and stretch that I will be needing I will most likey need to repaint.  But it can be held to a minimal if the paint is "cut" (with a razor) along with a heating gun to help the paint "stretch".  Doing so will help the paint from cracking and less to have to fix in the end.

Don't think that the "poke" will be that bad.  Should fit just about perfect if your are lucky you might be able to pull it off without evening having to pull.  My wheels are 19X9 +33 19X10 +34 and........you know what I am looking at having to do.

I have driven on 19's with 215/35/19 tires...and it scared me! haha very thin sidewall.

20's are not that bad at all....naturally depends on the size of rubber you are riding on.  The rubbers that you were running on the 19's were pretty small.....if you were to do similar rubber on 20's I would assume the ride will be similar if not the same.  I think the biggest difference would see is in the gas mileage....not so much the ride quality.

Nope....nothing to announce......still got the wheels in my house.  Need to take some photos of the rear axle and those photos will determine as to whether or not 1)  There is an application that I can use from the Watts System for the EGG and 2) Hopefully getting "someone" to do the install job......oh and 3).......if I can afford it.  LOL  If it all doesn't work out....then I will go with the Lateral Rod and let the fender work begin!

Silly question, what does the lateral rod have to do with fender working?

When you lower a ride with a solid rear axle it tends to shift more to one side. Hence the reason you need a lateral rod to "re"-align everything. Wouldn't make any sense doing fender work.........until that is done. Did that make sense? I think it did........but then again sometimes I think that I am making sense and people around me are what? LOL Hope this helps.

You are correct. In our case, it shifts to the right and thats why my rear passenger tire is getting eat up when I'm pretty low.

No new pics to post...........but in answer to your questions...........the specs are (Fronts) 19X9+33 (Rears) 19X10+34 (Thanks To Robert).  Basically saw it in the ESTIMA mag from Japan with similar fitment (my set was a little less aggressive).  After looking more closely although hard to see with my "senior" vision (Black EGG/Black Rubber) that the wheels do infact poke in the mag as well(I thought they looked flush).  Wish I could run the Poke look........"most guys buy wheels that fit their ride.......I bought wheels that the car will need to fit."  LOL  But I know that my "Good Samaritan" is going to make it look like (the wheels and ride) they were a match made in heaven.

Stupid Hawaii rules is right........but I guess you got to pay to play.  Also with me working in Waikiki (Training Ground for Rookie Cops) I just got to "look" as legal as possible.  Many say, "its a van....no one going to bother you" and I hope that is true but don't feel like taking any unecessary risks.  Also doesn't help that an infamous cops' beat is in Waikiki......even cops don't like this guy!  Pretty bad when your own kind hate you.

Hopefully when the Lateral Rod comes in.....I will have something to post.  Speaking of which.......any updates on your EGG?

ok..... so i want to see some new pics. did you get a lateral rod? and will the wheels clear the sliding door?

No pics to show.......I got some "plans" to do to her before I put on the Lateral Bar and Wheels.  So until then the wheels will stay in the house.  As for the sliding door rubbing.....yeah it rubs pretty good.  But not to a point where it leaves a "line" in the door so will probally not get the sliding door.  Right now the lack of funds is what is holding up the project.  I'll be sure to post up if and when I get around to it.  LOL
