help wit hair suspension issue(ucf11)
My "norm" light has been flashing ever since i got the car. Tried the jumper to check the codes and teh abs light goes batshit flashy but the norm light stays solid. When i unplug it the Norm light will flash a constant on off on off .
the reason i am doing this is that the car leans to the right, but the air controller won't fix it even if i adjust it to full right.
anyone been down this road before?
Mike

it's telling you to pull it out and go with something that will hold up over time.

i'm gonna take it to lexus tomorrow and see how much blood i should drain to pay for them to hook it up to the diagnostic machine.
when i drain the air out via the fitting at the bag, then raise the car up using the switches on the dash the right front drops MORE and the left front goes up first indicating an issue.

sounds like a sensor issue. i've never seen the suspension on an air euqipped ucf11 but i would imagine there are some mechanical sensors on the lower contol arms. maybe you can adjust them?

yes they can be adjusted. I'm gonna pull the right rod off and bench-adjust it.

I've never owned a UCF10/11 with air (assuming you're running factory air with a data controller) but I've read that factory air on those cars (and even the 20/21) is notorious for failing, especially when you deflate them past oem spec using the data controller. Is there a psi guage, or any way to verify if there is an air leak? Cuz it sounds like there might be a leak if it sags to one side. Its also possible there is more than one issue here and the dash guage indications are making it extra confusing. Also, you got a service manual? When I had my UCF10 (non-air) the service manual was a godsend and helped me troubleshoot all sorts of issues without having to pay the dealer for diag hookup. Good luck!

i don't have the book for it. when i air it up from full drop(past oem-spec) it will air the left front up 1st then the right will catch up, with a difference of almost 1.5 inches.
I can get almost all of the parts i need to go custom air system(minus the switch panel) so i am working out how to setup an individual corner controlled system and ditch the front pair rear pair up/ down system.
The factory bags don't leak, it's just the "gangsta lean" issue like others have had on factory. Aslong as i have it sorted out by may 15th then all will be good.

Since nobody has done it yet, I would to take a moment to point out the humorous misapplication of the space bar. Thank you. Now we return you to your regularly scheduled program.
