well, hydraulics is more of a type on suspension while Airrunners are a brand name of air cylinder suspension...

I say give Universal Air a call and ask them what they can do... cheaper than Airrunner and most seem to really like their products and service.

air runner actually uses bags not cylinders. if you want something that has more ease of install go with the air runner. also it's easier to get a comfy ride w/ air vs hydro.

oh I thought Airrunner used air cylinders, eh, doesn't matter. for the price of them I'd rather piece together something else.

by the time you piece all the products you need for an airsus you might as well have just gone with the airrunner....it'll be about the same price!

yeah, but by piecing everything together you can get exactly what you want!

and the UAS kit is something around 2100-2300 out the door... no where close to the 4K+ of Airrunners.

Universal Air can go low if you have an aftermarket strut. Though most applications if you use the stock strut, you'll be limited to how far it goes. Just curious, what suspension are you running?

Air Runners = bolt on air strut (assembled) NOT CYLINDERS... :p

It all comes down to your preference. Both are great systems but I chose AIR RUNNER!!! I love the ride quality on the Previa.

2100-2300 just for the bags! still gotta get different struts, tank, compressor, gauges, switches, lines....and do you get a warranty?

strut goes out on an airrunner they revalve it for you....on other peoples setups i see them running JIC then UAS man right there is 4 grand!

yah thats why i went airrunner also!

the ls400 uses the same airbag as those applications..do u have problems with universal air or anything?? there's nothing wrong with air runner..just for guys who want something more custom, and dont mind the extra headache of piecing everything together, universal air is better..i'd say air runner is reliable, a great product, and very convenient...i myself, will probably go with universal alr being that i have experience with air suspension and dont mind the extra work involved

Aaron aka EndlessNA1 got a setup through Universal Air for ~21-2300... he used JIC struts and from what I guess, it pretty much was all bolt on from there.

So while they may not list a specific LS application, the bags are pretty much universal so they have a kit for the LS for the price I mentioned.

What are you trying to say?

There's nothing wrong with using Universal Air's system, but however for the LS the clearance on the rear bag is very tight, if not installed properly it will rub the inner wheel well and eventually the bag will "pop" i've driven and worked on quite a few cars with the Universal Air set up and in my opinion unless you have slow downs the kit takes the luxury out of our cars. But if you wanna save a couple bucks here and there then go for it. I myself prefer Airrunner. My .02 cents. :p

all years. its becuz the LS bag is mounted higher therefore sits closer against the body, its avoided with the airruner system becuz of the bag they use. with the universal air bag its a bit thicker becuz its a sleeve bag. which is why they only listed those Lexus' on their site, becuz those bags are mounted lower on the shock assembly.

Airrunner is a sleeve bag and is a complete unit built into 1 with adjustable dampening. As for pricing, i believe some of our vendors on VSC can price you.

that's correct air runner does come w/ replacement shocks/struts. on the universal air setup you have to trim down the spring perch on the shock/strut for the bag to sit properly and to clear any obstructions for the air lines. most of the time people will use their stock shock/strut which can be a bad thing if you wanted to go back to stock. plus by using your stock stuff limits how low you can drop cause the shaft will bottom out before the bag is fully deflated on some cars. yes you can save money buy going the universal air route but i wouldn't reccomend it if you have no previous air suspension experience. overall both are good systems and good luck with your project whether you go the air runner or universal air route.

Just to add a bit to this as i am not experianced in the air suspension buisness.

easy street will be making a kit in a few months that is a complete bolt on and should out preform the air runner ones . It will take some time for R&D to make sure they can get it to drive beutifully as well as lower nicely too. The air runner is a nice system but the shocks/bags are the best part as everything else is just good enough for speed and ride quality. What easy street is trying to do is add a system with a large enough tank and compressor as well as the largest line possible for quick inflate times. It will also be fuly digital with a sensor to tell you which bag has a loss of pressure and will activate the pump and keep that corner at ride height until you pull over incase of pressure drops from leaks or bag rupture. What is even better is no welding like other universal systems and a price tag under $3000 for everything.
If you could buy just the air runner shocks it would make a great system.

Otherwise the cheapest way to go is get arnott industiries rebuilt shocks and install your own system for under $2000
