Y33 Gas Mileage thread

Whats everyone doing for gas mileage in their Y33s?

I feel mine went down like crazy when I put my snows on. On the all seasons the mileage was comparable to my G35 sedan.

Also, just hit 190k (kms so like 115 miles?) Anything I should do when I do my alternator (it's about to eat a D)

belts. lol. and the 2 belt tensioner pulleys up top are notorious for locking up.

Im getting 20. Or just a hair under.

I'd say 16/20

I was just guessing.  I don't drive often so can't really tell.   I remember my F50 was around there so I figure it's something similar.   Sometimes I do think it's worse then that though.

Y34 = 13/20 & I got just about the same in my Y33, except now I have extra 75 HP muwahahahaah lol

i got 23 mpg on the way home from vegas a month ago, averaging 80+mph the entire time. figured this out using a scangauge ii that had been calibrated

About 15 combined....gonna be putting in new spark plugs and maf this weekend hopefully.

i'm doin bout 16/20 in my y34...y33 should be similar cuz its a pig, but slower lol

113,000 i get 16-20 MPG but i drive pretty aggressively.

15 or worse. Need alignment and maintenance tho :(

I got 24.1 on the last free way trip. Steady 78mph. I get 18 city driving during the spring/summer/fall. I'm getting 15 right now during the winter. Letting the car warm up in the mornings/evenings kills the gas mileage.

Alright so I'm not too far off... I'm getting like 250 miles to a tank on a good week with some hwy driving. I got 95 miles to a half tank of pure city driving the other week and it crumpled my brain.

I get about 18-21mpg per tank when I actually drive the car

i must be getting under 18... car is in dire need of an alignment and knock sensors,  can usually make a 4 hr trip to indiana from chicago going about 75 the whole way and still have a 1/4 tank left

Ill have to calculate mine one day. It sucks these things dont even have a trip computer or mpg calculator. Even though OEM ones are usually not that accurate...

I know this is a Y33 thread but my Y34 this weekend went 350 miles from dallas to san antonio non stop, no fills. I don't know the actual mpg cuz my guage doesn't work but the destnation till empty read 430 miles till empty. Dunno how accurate that is with the gas hand not working.  On the way to san antonio I rolled 100k miles though :)

Just start with a full tank... drive around and record mileage.   Go fill up again and you will see how much gas you used to drive around.

Yea just wright the miles on the receipt after every fill up then work backwards when you have 5 or 6 receipts for the average.

So has anyone looked into ecu flashes/chips to get better mileage or more power? I know wolf made one for the g50...

Oh n I average 18.3mpg with 19s on and 22ish with stocks on. Both mixed driving. I can make it to Vegas on a full tank so that's 336 miles from my house in sd to my house in LV with a little under a quarter left.

Yea that's what I'm doing, I'm sure I'll mod it but 115mpg sounds pretty good when I'm paying a 1.45 a Litre.
