guess I'll start, took this last year at an aquarium.  Actually, the last time the GS was ever on the road sadly....  Can't wait to get out there with the new gear that I've been slowing building up and upgrading...  not my best picture, but I like "marine life"

This is a picture I took with my  Canon Digital camera. I enhanced it in photshop. I think it came out very well. I was messing with the landscape setting or something..you take one picture move the camera take another and match them up. Let me know what you guys think. I am a graphic designer and now getting into photography. I would like to by a digital SLR camera. I have a Nikon SLR 35mm but I choose to use my powershot a70..for now.

I love that bus pic!  and that landscape that zion has?  shows that u don't need a SLR to pull off a great pic IMO.

as for what I am shooting with?  I shot that jellyfish with a 10D and 50mm f1.8 at the time.  Since then, I let the 10D go and picked up a 30D and slowly began adding to the lens collection, the last one I added this weekend to try to take advantage of the last day of the Canon rebate.  

so now, my gear consists of - Canon 30D, 17-40 f4L, 50 f1.8, and just ordered a 70-200 f2.8L which hopefully will show up tomorrow.

Oh that's some nice equipment! 30D is like the 20D with FF sensor right?

I don't much like Canon since everyone got one. Especialy those Rebel, it's getting annoying seeing old mans with their big cameras thinking they're the best... But they got no creativity and can't get much of their SLR...

For me, well, I'm a proud Pentaxist and I think they're the best :p Just kidding, but I still prefer them.

The sunset is very nice firelizard and the rainbow... well I think it's a really difficult thing to photography since... you know, you move and it just disapear :p .

And onajinohito... Mind if I suggest you something for your picture? I ask you cause it's not a rating thread or judging thing... 

And don't take too personal what I said about the Canon company it's still great equipment but I prefer Pentax :thumbsup:

Here is a picture of a Rose I took. I then brought it into PS and played with it a little. The end result is this.

I know it sais non auto but here is a picture of my car,I thought the picture came out great. I used an orange photo filter with a lense blur.

I don't know if you know... the rule of thirds. Of course it doesn't apply to every picture but usualy it gives a beter photography.

The problem I see with the picture is that the subject is in the center wich is not neceserly a bad thing but it's kind of "boring" with the bird there in the middle. With the rule of thirds it would've looked like that...

Story on that pic. Iw as the only person allowed in the house of kolors booth at TAS. There was a HUGE group of people around the booth, and he saw me with a 70-200 L lens, and on a friends shoulders and let me go in and take a gfew pics.

WEll fellas I was forced into buying a camera sooner than I thought. My camera took a fall from a 3 story building and was damaged beyond belief. I purchased a Nikon D50 DSLR. I am very pleased with the camera.  Here are some of the first photos I took with it last night...I need to learn a lot about all this so, note that I am not trying to display pro photos....but I do think for never using a DSLR camera before these arn't to bad...Enjoy, and let me know what you think about these. The last one is a little bit noisy but that was the very first picture that I took trying to do that effect with the car head  and tail lights contuine to move in the picture.

here's a few i took waiting for my friend to get out of work in Tahoe. the b&w is a self portrait...ive always loved photography, just dont have a good camera. these were taken w/ a cheap kodak easyshare 5 mp's i bought off a friend for 30 bucks haha. hopefully someday i'll have a nice slr!
