what setup?

stock air suspension with datasystems asi65x-m2 air ride controller

the wheels are work euroline s2's
18x8 front 18x9 rear +35 all around

tires are p225/40r18 all the way around

and i WISH i could drive it on superlow, but i can barely turn the wheels.  if i roll the shit outta the fenders then i'll be able to, but i'd have to roll it and pull it a LOT.

What do you mean... it's not good to lower it with the controler and the stock bags? or it's because he put it higher?

Hes saying that cause its an older car....... my friends in Japan have older cars they dont have a problem and they been using air sus controllers for yrs.

most first gen ls400s (the UL edition) here in america had bad bags at one point, and were either replaced with new ones, or switched out for a shock/spring combo. if they are the original ones, they are pretty weak now and cant really keep up with the 'abuse' of setting it lower than factory height. they will rip eventually, and will need to be replaced.

Anyone with factory air and an airsus controler will know that driving your car on superlow mode is not much fun. It sits about 1" off the bumpstops and with close to no pressure in the airbags, it bottoms out when you go over a pebble. When going around corners it feels like you are sitting on one of those excercise balls with your feet off the ground. Never know which direction you will roll...
 
Anyway, looks great now that you can get it lower... Would be nice with some UCF21 struts and an SS kit, then you can drive at the current superlow height and still have 2" suspension travel. Parking would be pretty much laying frame!!

haha yeah that's right, swc!  there isnt ANY vipism that i've seen over there.  i was actually just there picking up my friend.  i would never park my car there, i've heard and seen too many bad things happen to cars over there.

when i had my lincoln, lowering the car via the sensors sometimes exposed leaks u wouldnt normally have since the bags werent so compressed before.  id imagine these lexus bags would have the same problem.

my front passenger bag actually blew the other day, so now i'm just driving the car on superlow hahaha.  rubs like a bitch, but looks cool while doing it!

Is there even anyone out there with a data systems  controller as well as an SS kit?..... I know there are a bunch of people with controllers but I havent seen anyone with an SS Kit.

YES......... I know only the ones i got the SS kit for. BUT in the last 6 months or so folks have been asking alot of questions about the SS kit.  I know a few got thiers SS kit thru the yahoo auctions. 

SS Kit isnt going to layframe...... like on my car it gave me an extra 30mm drop.
