Cima Temporary Status

Since My Cima has no headlights i cant get it safetied and therefor cant adjust camber to fit wheels :( Shes so sad .. BTW those equips are 20x11 -17 :). SOMEBODY HELP ME GET THIS ISH ON DA ROADD I NEED Q45 HEADLIGHTS LOL:hsughr::hsughr::hsughr:

Yea i was but ill probably stance em. I live in canada so the laws are i need q45 headlights or any that are DOT stamped! Im currently selling my crystalized lights on here just made a post. Someone hook a brutha upp, if you guys know of any scrap yards or anything lemme know. I dont do ebay, scammed too many times

I have cleared headlights and retro'd projectors in my car...

As long as the headlights say DOT on them and they point right more then they are fine lol my cima ones dont so i just need headlights that are DOT so i can safety this skank and get her stanced for summer! I really just want stock ones but if i can somehow get retrofitted ones for cheap then im down!

I have a set of USDM Lens that you could put on other headlights just to pass inspection if that would work?? one has a crack though so you wouldn't want to run them long term

Btw homie you  can always take the lenses of the lights and get the "DOT" engraved on the inner of it... that's how I did mine when I imported my Aristo back in -08:biggthumpup:

Geez I didn't even think of the 1997 Cima being eligible for import this year.   

(Needs to be 15 yrs old before it can be imported to Canada for cars coming from anywhere outside of US/Mexico)

lmao yea i got pics of the bazreia's and i need this car to be dot because we have something called MPI (manitoba public insurance) and they are douchbags lmao they wont let me lower my car anymore than that last pic i have because its not safe, the headlights need to be DOT due to them being a "hazzard on roads" says the vehicle inspection guys ... trust me if you lived here you probably wouldnt lower your car too much either, our roads blow major chunks and im affraid ima crack a rim this year cuz of serious potholes :(

well im doing my school here then i might move out west to bc or vancouver. just love those places but for now since im only 19 i cant afford shit lol headlights might be on order if i can get this guy to ship em out. lowNDslow or RITZY33 (same guy) is sellin me his so hopefully soon this baby will be on the road

I posted in the FS thread but I may be willing to trade my OEM Black housings fo rthe clears?  I also still have that set of OEM lens that I would sell cheap....

headlights are on order starting today! Upon waiting arrival i have a couple things left to do to get her safetied; change brakes to r33 big brake slotted rotors and calipers, change side markers (already bought just gotta wire up), change plugs from HKS summer plugs to NGK copper tips (my favorite never let me down yet), swap over tires, and make an appointment. hopefully this week or next this bad mudda will be on the road! After safety i have a full stereo system ready for installation, window visors, curtains, put my wald body kit back on, slam car, tint front windows ... the list never ends with projects like this. :shrug: People ask why spend so much, my answer: Because VIP :thumbsup:

Ya been thinking S15 or R34 would be badass.   RB26 motor is a real headache  (Had an R32 GTR for a while)

so you've got a bigger turbo but stock intake and intercooler setup?

aftermarket intake, and over winter intercooler setup will be done. i didnt have funds at the time for all of the above

How fast is your q with that turbo engine? Need more low also

Yea i know i needs to get lowered but its hard to drive in my city even at my height, damn construction everywhere and shitty roads ... But otherwise this engine is pretty quick! Once i hit full boost it throws you in your seat, im running about 400hp atm on 10psi.

mmk well its been quite some time since ive updated this badboy due to me working like everyday. pretty much just lowered it, running new hawk brake pads front and rear, going for project mu for next year in rears. new 12" kicker comps because i blew my last pair haha and really not a whole lot else just been working on my BG5 GT-B and getting it all safetied and ready for winter. heres a few pics:

new purchase is some 21x9+8 21x10.5+5 Work Schwert SC2's wrapped in 245/35/21 Nitto Invo's, next off is a new wheel ive had kickin around for a long time but never had time to install it. I have some more goodies on order for spring time so i will post further pictures when everything is in.

They fit no problem, its staying stock body just rolled fenders thats all. Remember this is my daily so its not going to be stupid low but it will be low enough to look good!

What kind of steering wheel hub adapter are u using?

I believe the adaptor was off either an s14 or r32 .. I test fit both and cant remember which one worked. Btw im not using the factory horn setup so that is why it worked (Wiring is different), i got something up my sleeve for a nicer sounding horn haha.
