Help me pick a colour

Well, I'm going to have to repaint most of the car because of rust showing up already, because of fender mods (roll/pull, and turn signals), and misc other crap.
I've been thinking that instead of re-doing 75% of the car in plain jane silver again, I'd just do the whole thing over again with a new colour either later this year or early next year - whenever I have time.

The first two that come to mind are Chrysler Cool Vanilla, or a black cherry colour like Gatos car.

Thoughts, comments, and suggestions are more than welcome.

Candy, candy! Like what Lorin is doing to that Ceffy... Only because it would be a real motivator for you to get the wheels and suspension sorted... Stock cars with candy paint look funny :)

In all seriousness, take a colour that looks classy and not offered on the protege... Something with a pearl or heavy metallic IMO

Rims are being worked on as we speak - I'm hunting down "the ones".
Paint is more out of necessity than anything else

Little car... take some cues from some of the nicer little k-cars in Japan... go with a lighter pastel hue but with metallic so it doesn't look like a typical Crest mint green civic or something. Like a light sky blue or green, but the kind you find on fancy cars... check out some land rovers and jaguars

http://www.paintwithpearl.com/

I used some of their stuff when I painted my 240sx (turned out like crap because I used a tiny compressor w/ no condensation filtration haha)

BUT, they're pretty cheap and it gives you a TON of options on custom mixing pearls/candys into your paint.

i've tried their Violet Satin Ghost Pearl and back pearl (not at the same time) over a black base.. very good results. one of their $9 bags lasts forever..

help me pick a color

I'd go with a candy even if it a basic color. Just did a car for a customer. Used Alsa black base with a silver(titanium) candy over it. Added some flip flop pearl to it. Looks really good. Imao

My 2nd gen Protege.
I've settled on white with gold and blue pearl, just like on my bike.

You cant go wrong with black. If you want to be fancy throw in some gold flake, or maybe a little dash of rainbow flake. Add something in will get the creases and lines of your body and body kit to "pop" a little bit more.

Haha, wow I forgot about this thread already!
I said I settled on white but I can't stop thinking about turquoise like the new Pontiace Wave, or the car in my sig.
White = safe choice
Turquoise = omgwtfbbq choice

Almost time to do jambs, inside doors, undertrunk, and underhood before winter comes and the unfixed rust spreads... better buy some stocks in rubberized undercoatings haha
