First mod so far after tint Brabus Monoblock IV one-piece

2002 Infiniti Q45 Sport
20x9.5 Brabus Monoblock IV
255/35ZR20 Falken 451

Bought the rims used in not that superb of a condition but good enough for my first set of rims for this car. My friend had these since '98 on his 1998 Lexus GS300 and finally I bought them off him after almost 10 years. They were redrilled to fit the 5x114.3 pattern since Mercedes is slightly different...I think 5x112. Later maybe go with a lip/2piece/3piece style rim. Pictures taken with a Panasonic DMC-TZ1.

silly question..but what process is included when redrilling? Also, is it safe? does it weaken the strength of the wheels?

I'm not sure what they did...it looks like however they drilled the holes alittle bigger and the counter sunk part as well. It's only 2.3mm bigger to go from 112 to 114.3 so I'm guessing thats all it took. Just alittle off each hole equaled just that. So if you think about it structual integrity was hardly lost. Just putting the bolts in was some what difficult because of the bigger holes the weight of the rim made it not sit centered.

Do you think it looks better without the mudflaps? I kind of like them but once I do put some kind of suspension on I'll probably have to remove them. Right now I think they're helping the car's side rocker panels stay clean.

I was looking at mine, but they dont look like they come off without taking off the stock skirts. But I could be wrong.

Looks good. I have a set of used swift springs at a great price if your interested. The ride will still feel stock, only difference is that front will sit about an inch lower and the rear will sit about .7 lower then stock. Private message me if you are interested.
