FS: Y33 Algernon Coilovers and Univeral Air Aero Sport bags with custom brackets
Algernon Coilovers for 97-01 Infiniti Q45 Y33 Front & Rear
I used these with UAS airbags and now I'm on cup suspension on Megans so these are up for sale.
I used them for less than 1000 miles.
I bought them used from another member from I think Texas 1.5 years ago. I don't remember how many miles he drove them or if he was original owner.
The front top plates are camber adjustable as well as dampening adjustable.
Rears are also dampening adjustable.
One of the three Front Left mounting bolt/stud needs a 6mm allen wrench to hold in place when putting the nut on top. It works perfectly fine to tighten it up. Last picture shows what I mean.
I don't have the spanner wrenches for the lock collars but those can be bought almost anywhere. I used my megan ones on these and worked perfectly fine.

I'm not sure... I haven't tried. They are sold now and the guy who makes them stopped awhile ago. Very hard to come by.

did you find out what the spring rate is?

I think it's probably 8/6 or 9/7, like every other Japanese coilover for our cars

There are no markings on the springs.

Charles I believe you are right. After doing some searching around yahoo.co.jp I keep seeing 8/6 setup. Best guess is 8/6

ahh okay, was it stiff enough for you? i was going to order BC Racing and grab 16/14...i had 8/6 before with my S13 and slammed, and it was good enough, but with the weight of this car, im not sure if it will be stiff enough for me.

up to you. pretty much same price. Brand new BC or used Algernon. it's not the same. Fronts are inverted shocks with valve adjustment on the bottom rather then top. I never drove on these springs only the struts. I had bags on these coilovers so I can't say how it rode the way it was originally designed..

I'm not sure why these didn't sell sooner. Comparing these to BC was funny tho.. I have a dyno sheet from my previous set, they are pretty dope shocks.
