#463279New to the page, new to the scene (KA9)
Hey guys,I've been in the import scene from my first car (92 prelude w/96 h22 swap). I have been very interested in larger platform cars from working at a local Honda Dealership (Wilde SUN Honda), then moving over to the local Acura Dealership (Gettel Acura) later. I now own and operate a small business where we sell and install Headers, Exhaust, Aero products, Suspension etc... with a buddy of mine that i met at the Honda Dealership.
I've got my daily pretty much done with everything i wanted to do with it and am happy to be moving onto another car shortly! I picked up my Acura RL3.5 a few months ago with a blown trans and beat up interior. The body is straight for having over 250K on the odm. For starters I plan on cleaning up the engine bay quite a bit with removing the ABS modulator, relocating the battery, and hopefully "wire tucking" what i can with it. If you've ever seen whats under the hood of any RL, there is quite the mess of things under there. You hardly see any thing other than the battery relocated, or a "chrome" intake pipe modified from the earlier predecessor the Legend (KA7). I really want people to see a difference and feel inspired to do something different when im done with the car. I know it will take some time and i am in no rush to finish the car. I also have AirRunner in mind (being a distributor helped with the decision for sure!!) along with wheels of course, and possible Areo. It looks like the later models have more options for them but we'll see. As far as the interior is concerned, a few things here and there. Come on guys, this is my first car with leather, what more do i need?!!:dance: Ha Ha Ha
It may not be the IDEAL platform, and someone will sure enough tell me its not VIP, but at least its me... doing my own thing.
