The Audi A8L (quick build) by Futura Design

A Futura Design X Refined Elegance project
well ever since the LS430 got more and more stuff added to it I decided it was time for a daily driver.

I knew this time around I wanted to jump into a German car so I picked up a 08 328i bmw. That didnt last too long as I felt i needed something bigger so I jumped on a 2007 Audi A6. kept it for 2 months and finally realized im a big body guy all day long so I sold it and got the A8L

so here she is, I looked for a month straight everyday and almost lost hope cause i wanted low miles and clean with records...and she finally popped up in my area.

but,you should still enjoy the unraveling of this small euro project.

this will be a short quick build, Im thinking 3 to 4 months max.

(iam building 2 other sets of rare wheels for this car that will all share the same lips and barrels of the MAE, so essentially face lifts when I want, stay tuned)

and for now lets not waste time...the MAE's will soon see 6" custom stainless steel step lips..

a8l + mae's = perfection.

This is going to be amazing.

The A8L has so much presence in the street OEM.... I know this is going to be a really dope build...

I'm watching this thread for sure.....

You may want to think about a custom strut/bag set up if you want to go low, I remember Dave's was not pleasant to be in when dumped.

hey cheez, the cars already bagged so I got adjustable lowering links to trick the oem system.
cool thing is you have three height settings controlled through the navy system

still waiting on lips for MAE's to come in...

meanwhile I picked up some daily drivers 21 Carlsson 3/11
did this text fit but reality is I hate shiny wheels so Im taking them apart and doing them a satin finish including lips...

guess you can call them spare wheels but rest assured MAE coming soon

Did these come from Felgenfuchs? Looking for some lips and barrels for my Crown Jewls...

Are you happy with the finish on the lips?

Did your MAE come with the screws for the caps? I've been sourcing the right screw for my MAE monobloc for ages.

the outer shells came from tuner shop Germany. the finish is excellent.

My MAE center caps just push in. no screwes on them
