would like some opinions on this Cedric i would like to buy.

hey guys, looking to pick up something new for the summer. i would really like to hear some of your guys' thoughts on this car. i myself really like it, but i have always been more a toyota lexus guy but this thing just has something about it i adore. thoughts guys?

Looks good to me because i also love them. but 15k for a car that is a 1992 seems a little steep when you cant even open the passenger door

well its or best offer so I think Austin has a point it is abit too high..  I'd offer 10K and see what he says..

yeah i agree i wouldent wanna do 15k. you guys have any idea what could possibly be up with that door? 

would ask him but he works out of the country and is on shift right now so im in the dark. sorry guys. or know any good questions i should be asking him about this? common problems for cedrics?

like he said thats all that can really get a door stuck. well he will want money when he get back in the next week i say offer him 8k and if you have the money at most 10k IMO his lack of knowledge on the parts will be your benefit.

If it's a striker that ishhh is a pain to switch out...

10k is a grip. U can buy a better one from for under 5k. I paid 2000 for my y32 Gloria and it was on work wheels and full admiration kit on jics

Of course they are cheap in Japan, just like early 90's mustangs with tons of mods are dirt cheap here...

I think 15k isn't horrible if everything on the car works properly, it's got low km on it too. Obviously 10k would be better, I would settle around 12k for it, if it something you really want. Probably not going to find too many others to choose from that are already in the country.

I wouldn't put any value in the kit or wheels or suspension. So what do u have left  a shell. The y32 is not even luxury.  Most that I've seen don't have leather . Does this have the vg30det?my main concern would be how it operates oppose to how cherry the body work is. If its rolling anything less than the vg30det. It will be sluggish and under powered.  Common failures. Power steering pump. Master cylinder that I can recall. Regardless of the price. The purpose of the thread was to inform. Unless he is dropping 15k cash. I can't imagine what kind of interest rate he will get on a car that old. I would love to own  a car that's unique but the price is not in the range of a cash purchase that would make more sense. Y33 Gloria or y32 v8 cima have better body lines IMO and I could justify spending a little more.  

Ok I just checked the link. Car does have leather. It is the vg30det - kit. Sus. Wheels like I said I wouldnt put any value into it unless you are 100% in love with the car there is no resale value or market for u to make anything back on it.      Odds are the coils need revalving. Assuming that everything is great on the car 15k is still over the top cherry or not.

a modded car is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. personally, i would never pay 15k for that car. i would find a clean stock y32 in the 5k range and spend the other 10 building it my way.
