Hey whats up guys?
Im from boston ma, not new to the car shows at all but new to the vip world. building a vip type car was something i wanted to do for a long while now but my pocket could never afford it. This season around im determined to at least create a vip base i can work on and build up. Im trying to build the most effective yet cost efficient car i can and work my way up. 
Im working with a 2003 mitsubishi galant and im glad to be here and hope i can learn as much as i can

theres a guy around here with a VIP styled galant and he pulled off the style very well.

any suggestions on wheels? i kno wheels are one of the most important things on a build like this unforntuatly for me i dont have that much bank cant get any wheels that are worth more then my car (not at this point anyway lol)

im in the market for buying wheels for a good price the problem is my car is a midsized sedan so i cant really go anything real wide and on top of that i also have a BBK but worse case ill just take it off til i find wheels that will clear them. i found a few sets but i didnt wanna buy them yet because of low offsets not really to sure how that works out fully yet but if right thats how far the wheel pushes from the hub? so with a lower offset a wheel would poke more then a wheel with a higher offset? i found some nice LXZ in my price range but the -3 in the front and -8 in the back so i doubt it will clear the bbk for one and for 2 it would most likely poke out real bad in the rear which eventualy wont be a problem cuz i plan to get body work done but not this season money is too tight going air and wheels at the same time =( any ideas?

are there any wheels around thats about 10 wide or even a 9 (if thats possible) with a decent lip my car is very narrow =( until i can afford some body work at least lol
this is a car like mine with a 18x9.75 et20 on 235/40/18

yeah ive been searching for awhile i dont really speak here but im always in the f/s section lol, ive been checking vr wheels and also czwheels, wheelflip craigslist ect no luck as of yet but ill keep looking thanks

as far as lip size, you're going to be restricted by the body, even if you stick to your constraints of x9 or x10 wheels. you're not going get a ton of lip, that's going to be determined by your offset.

can these be fixed? it looks like its in the coat not the table itself

Yup! That can be stripped and recoated. Careful though, its EASY to go through the veneer on the edges

is there any info on how to do that here lol i dont want to mess them up anymore then they are i kno these are hard to come by but it feels like its just on the surface nothing major

What would you like to know specifically? I sanded through mine in several spots  :-( i can give you some general tips if youd like.. Id hate to post a specific "diy" without a perfected system.. If youd like any help just pm me and ill be glad to send photos and help ya out!

in the market FINALLY to start sourcing out some accessories...like curtians neck pads pillows ect i was thinking along the lines of junction produce but ive been looking around it seems like they are even harder to get then i thought. im not trying to go the cheap knock off that they have on ebay for like 40 bucks which has to be a rep on just based off the price alone lol (if im wrong please feel free to put me in my place) but yea minor update still on the wheel hunt for a decent sized wheel that will fit but as winter comes closer to an end i really need to get the rest of my check list together so if anybody can point me in the right direction FOR THE BEST PRICES let me know THANKS GUYS
