saturday night

we went out drifting with that orange s14, and a 500HP+ gtr drifter.
then found a bunch of toyota guys, alotta mk 2s, and some VIP styled cars drifting....

I love daikoku futo, When I lived in Atsugi and Yokosuka that was the place to be on the sat. night.  Can you still see them drift from the mcdonalds in the parking lot?  Do they still rev their engines when they get down from the bridge?  That always got everybody all hyped up!!  I'm planing to take a tour there for my next set of orders for the Navy.

Daikoku futo is the absolute #1 place I want to visit.

Dude its march I said smmer.  I have been doing Daiko since the late 90's hell  can remember when there would be a line of car for like a klick trying to get in when the cops did nothing. Thats why it has been shut down in the summer.  YEah the boso come and f it up but the drifters do it out by the container canes and they come in from the street level.

Its been like that for a good 3 yeas now.

i like going down there, but if you go ot much, it gets boring. its good to go with a group of friends like our last trip

There's usually several.  There's a lot of tourists that stop by there too.  I used to see a lot of european/other than American nationalities there.  When we went it'd be several cars, a few being Y plates.

ITS NOT PAINTERS TAPE.  they sell pull over rollbar padding in japan you can get it from a number of sorces.  I get mine from safty 21 it comes in 5 colors.

What's up with the Arabic License Plates? Nice car, time for some wangan battles. Have you battled with TOP END too? I've seen battles at Tsukuba Circuit all high end cars, I think the NSX-R won. It may have been the driver, I believe the driver was Motoharu (Gansan) Kurosawa, that old man is such a good driver!!!

Actually other way around.  I was in the Yellow Porsche.  We were pacing with Yanachan at about 275-280kph slightly behind him then we blazed past him at close to 300kph.  Both cars are very fast and purpose built.  Yanachan has since sold his NSX and now has an H2..haha.

NOOOOO!!!! Why did he do that? That NSX was off the hook and it sounded like a beast. I saw the battle on Grip Video, I thought they did multiple passes and the NSX blew by everytime. No, that was my friend Ranzo who was doing the intros.  I was filming that part I think..hard to remember.  We were having Yanachan do fly-bye's to help capture the speed.  The lines are so big on the expressway that it's not easy to really see the speed.

Tight!!! I wish I had that job of filming and hanging out at Wangan and Daikoku Futo. So is Grip Video thinking of coming out with a VIP Special DVD in the near future? I think you guys should. ;)
