Is your vip car awesome yet? or is stock height with a Tsuna and Fusa?
It's not really a fad, coloured tint have been around for ages.

It wasn't cool to me in the 90s on lobo F150s, and it's not cool on some Japanese guy's LS/Q in Japan IMO.
But on the right car, i am sure it can be pulled off, just would look better to me with no tint or old fashioned black

the point is to recreate the high end euro glass. looks sick on some cars, ok on others. far from a fad though, vip cars have been doing ever since the euros started coming with colored glass.

Hold off on trippy tint until you you've got the car to pull it off. Stock car with green tint looks like shit.

How effective was it in regards to blocking out UV rays?

IIRC I think it's actually better than the standard charcoal tint. It reflects the light/UV more so than diffuses it like traditional charcoal tint does.

I'm running air blue on my truck...has a light blue hue to it but not too much like the Benz. I love it. 99% UV but of course heat reduction is limited because its just about clear.

yes, speedaddict is right -- 99% UV. it has the same heat rejection percentage as llumar's basic limo tint though, which is ridiculous since it's basically clear

Llumar cut us off because air 80 was the only film that we were buying. Lol 3m crystalline 70 is better anyway. Better heat rejection. Less blue

So it is 99% UV protection but since it is clear'ish blue, its limited heat reduction? Sorry, I'm lost.
Since it is clear'ish blue, does it do a good job with UV protection as well as a dark tint, say 35%?

UV protection and heat reduction are 2 different things. Because the tint is not dark, it will not reduce heat as much.

I did SunTek Light Blue back in... 2004? Rick @ SunDial did it for me.
Can't tell you much about UV rejection, the car is never driven anymore. But I still have it.
I don't even notice that it's blue.

I look retarded with a farmers tan that is darker on one arm than the other.

dude, i live in japan... i could put giant pink wings with neon lights on the side of my car and no one would care ;)
but seriously though it is hit or miss out here. certain mods they don't like, but tint is not one they stress over here since we live on a tropical island that regularly hits 100 degrees in the summertime with 100% humidity (okinawa)
