tire sizing questions? 19"
hey guys, have some 19x8.5 9.5 coming and im a little questionable as to what size tires would suit my car the best (y33). most of my fitment experience is with 17 and 18 inch diameter, and i haven't really had any wheels narrower than 9j so any help is appreciated. car is going to be on drop springs for a while so fender clearance isn't a huge concern at this point in time but im definitely erring on the side of stretch as opposed to balloon looking tires.
also how much attention should i be paying to load rating? haven't really done any wheels on a large bodied car like this.
based on my previous experience i am thinking 225/40 245/35 rear will put me close to stock rolling diameter and will be barely stretched if any. 225/35 and 235/35 would work to go lower but the car would have a slight forward lean, probably not noticable. does this sound fine?
does anyone have any other suggestions regarding this? i dont have much personal experience with these sizes but im no stranger to wheel fitment etc.

if you plan on having a bit of fender gap, definitely run a larger series tire (ie. 40). but, if you would like to ride the car very low with the wheels at the fender's most outter edge, and you've dialed in some negative camber to give it that "not so stock" look, be daring and run a 225/35/19 on the 8.5j and a 235 or 245/35/19 on the 9.5j. depending on the tire of choice, your stretch will be from mild to wild, and you will not end up with a square sidewall.
if the tire you choose is on the thinner side, you may be a bit stretched, and if that's not to your liking, bump it up to 235/35/19 on the front and 245/35/19 in the rear. i would consider this sizing to be "not too crazy" and not too "boring."

on my last g50 i went with a crazy small tire in front (225/35/19 on 9j), and a ridiculously large tire (265/30/19 on 10j) in back. i knew the car was going to be low, and my offset was conservative, so i decided to fill up the fender with some meat. it turned out to my liking...
