Alarm for your wheels !!!!!!!! ? <-------

Came across this site, they make an Alarm that goes off if any of your wheels are removed .... they also make other types of alarms for cars.
Im thinking of buying it ... maybe even ask about a group buy ... what do you guys think?

Very cool idea. If a group buy got underway, I'd definitely be keen...as long as they could be posted to me in Australia!! I don't hear alot about wheel theft here, but it does happen. And alot of insurance companies wont insure the wheels on your car here (I know mine wouldn't), so it definitely sounds like a good idea to me. The last thing you want is to put a nice new set of 5k+ wheels on your car, only for them to be stolen.

Wheel locks don't do much do they?

That alarm on the other hand seems to be quite nifty and useful, except for the typical problem of thieves being gone by the time you're back at your car.

If someone wants to steal your shit, they'll steal it so it doesn't matter. The alarm would only work if the thief doesn't know shit about alarms but most likely he already knows how to disarm it. What I would do is get air and slam it. :p  haha Or you can get a couple different wheel locks which would be a b*tch to take off every time.

that's kind of pointless....if you already have an alarm on the car, that will go off with the car being lifted up to where you would need it to take off the wheel, there is no point in this. yeah, like mike said, get air and slam it! body to the floor, tucking rim, no one will get out of there alive. and hook up a plug so you can take out your air switch box, and viola, no one can raise your car except you!

get air, and slam the shiznit out of it.. just like mdenoga said!!

well slaming it on air is a $2k idea, but when they get in and start the car they just raise it and drive away.
I dont argue with the fact that if someone is going to steal somthing then they will steal it. But how much trouble are they willing to go threw?
 I have lifted up a few cars forgetting the alarm is on and it didnt go off, thats what sceared me the most ....
