Strange sound

Does anyone know why a y33 might sound like a dump truck/rig when i drive it or rev it up?

Not sure about the Y33 but the Y34 M45 is notorious for developing a crack in the driver side exhaust manifold.

Sorry i shouldve specified, its not the diesel noise but how a rig sounds like it reving really high when it takes off

Sounds like the fan/clutch. It is really loud when first take off. That's how mine sounds after I replaced the fan and fan clutch.

Hey dzznuts671 what was the problem with your Y33 when we took it to cali I think it might be that sound

I did just change the fan and fan clutch, but it does that noise at random it seems like

Mine does the exact same thing. Seems like some days it sounds like a jet fighter lol and other times it sounds normal. Don't know if the engine needs to warm up. Or if the clutch needs to warm up so it in gauges earlier. Not too sure why. Plus side is my engine stays hella cool from pushing all that air! LoL
