New Guy in Japan

Guess I post in here as well? If I am wrong someone correct me. 

My name is Matt. I drive a built RX7 but just picked up a Toyota Aristo V300 automatic. Eventually it will get a 5spd swap. It has a semi build on the engine (2JZGTTE) not sure on the depth yet however.  A friend refered me here. Car has coil-overs, trafficstar rims etc. I figured I always wanted a GS and this one I could'nt pass up the deal. I am so used to buying crappy cars and building them I really don't even know where to start on this car plus it is semi done. I guess more engine work and making these rims sit in the wheel wells and figure out if I want to get them Rebarrelled or not. I am a noob to VIP cars so bare with me. My buddy will school me pretty well on the ins and outs I am sure.

Will miss the RX7 once it sells but it is time for something else I did'nt get everything done like I wanted to but it came a long way there was so many wiring problems and stuff broke you could'nt see. It looked like a good car on the outside but was masked with horrible rust, scratches and broken parts. Now it sits 98% rust free and only minor surface rust that will go away with a sos pad on some engine parts. I won't miss the 7MPG of gas the RX7 eats or the lack of space however. 

It will be nice to see new perspectives on vehicles and possibly meet some new people.

so jeolous you live in japan how much power is the RX7 making?

Sorry guys been really busy at work. The RX7 was making about 380 maybe a tad more to the wheels. Did make progress over the last weekend I tucked the tires up in the fender wells to get the fat girl to sit lower. Wish my RX7 would sell so I would have alot more money to play with for mods but hopefully we will see. I ordered a Intake for it and I am going to start cleaning up the aristo and doing odds and ends like reclearing the headlights. I might be sending them to Oracle for Color Shift Halos because I would like to keep the OEM HID auto leveling headlights if possible. I also am looking into bags and rebarrelling the Rear Rims to take them from 10j to 11-11.5j but like I said looking into it. I kind of wanted to drift it but since driving it now have changed my mind. I want to keep it strickly VIP but with performance touched as well.

PS. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance sometime later this week. Does anyone know if they care if we make a build thread and take our sweet ass time on it?

Hey everyone. Sojah finally encouraged me to get off my ass and get the rear fenders rolled and stanced so I did. I will hopefully post some pics this weekend. Oh and the car is slammed as well. Pretty much as safe as I can keep it statically. Already ripped part of the exhaust in one instance and got it re welded.

Well me and Sojah went to the car show. Some pics are Sojah's Crown and mostly my Aristo As promised pics from before today and of tonight. They were taken with a phone so they aren't great quality like they could be but... you get the idea. I got runner up at the car show for being my first car show isn't bad in my opinion especially since Sojah's crown is way beyond my car's level right now. Was a fun filled night though.
