Ha, finally brought a platform:)
lets see what happens
its an 05, full spec minus leather(not fussed)
Picking it up tomorrow from the dealer

Yeah Japan import. Only a few in Nz so far. Not even sure if any have been registered yet as I had to get an insurance person to come have a look at it as they don't have it in their system yet.

yes you are correct. once my coils are here(hoping to get them in next few weeks)ill slamm her and measure up everything and start browsing through YAJ for a perfect set of 19s.

19x9/10 got some 25mm adapters coming next week. tyres sorted and also should be able to order my coilovers next week.

looked at BC, can get them through my mate at $1500nzd. shop price will be a few hundred more.
I'll be happy with those RS-r im trying to get. they drop about 100mm.

This car wont be as crazy as my sentia.. want it to be fairly drivable and dont want to ruin shit because i want to sell it one day:)

yeah IS, 3GS and Mark X have same suspension setup, and pretty sure some 2gs arms fit crown too. Havent really looked that far into it just yet

now still need to do rears. have to redrill top hats to make it work... also will need some waaaay stiffer springs... she is on the floor right now

looking good! try and raise the lower spring perch to increase the spring preload. that will stiffen up the spring, hopefully without raising the car.

What year/code WRX? There are a few options for camber arms and things like that.. anything more is custom !

Work LS406, 19x9 +16 and 19x10 +16 +20mm adapters on top (5x120 pattern) i just had to get them.
They are practically brand new, im not totally sold out on the color(even tho its nice) i still want silver face, polished lip.

Now who ever got these powdercoated was a bit "silly"
painted over bolts, in and out... struggling to take them apart as every thing is pretty much "glued up"

100x better on the new wheels. Spokes were too fat on them Bimmer wheels, sides Bimmer rims should stay on BMWs... Cars looking good.

i agree, the fat spokes made it look european in my eyes but still cool! new wheels are nice but i can't see the actual color.

dang man, coming along pretty well...  easy for me to say though as i'm not the one doin the work.  :D

should look outstanding when its done for all your troubles.  if i had it to do over again i would go with 19's as it seems to sit much lower and just right in my opinion.

Those wheels look 10000x better than the BMW wheels and 100x better in silver than black. Nice work!

Ah.. yeah camber arms don't exist on those. The top hats for suspension control the camber :)

if you just search for クラウンアスリート you get all the athlete stuff.  if you search for クラウン grs18 you get all the crown 18 stuff for all three variants.  but i think you have the crown royal version which can fit athlete stuff but not majesta stuff.  same here for mine.  i can fit all the crown royal stuff but not the majesta stuff.

this is first time i actually drove on this setup, a few small rubbing issues in the front but thats an easy fix.

this is its final height too, on this setup anyways..

Today i finally got around properly mounting my front kit. had to drill holes etc and make a few changes to bumper tabs as my wheels were rubbing on it.

so i started brainstorming about what to do next on the crown
 the idea is to retrofit mazda 3 LED daytime driving lights/fogs into my front kit

i first started off with photoshopping Job Design kit just to get an idea 
top is original, mid is with fogs attached same way as mazda one, and bottom is flipped so it flows with the lines of the kit etc

also modified mid mouth etc

and this is vision of how i want it on my kit, deleted trim in mid piece and slightly recessed bottom edge(similar to K-Break kits)

Athlete grille, honeycomb bottom mouth, all modded for the new Lexus style bumper insert, also the mazda3/6 fogs.
its a lot of work but with right set of mind its very doable.
