[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Hey guys, bare with me seeing that this is the first time I have ever started a "build thread." Having my first son and wanting to eventually expand on my young family I decided to sell my old A4. Here is a photo in its final stage with the Aero 2's

[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Any way, I went ahead and picked up a 1996 LS 400, the car was pretty sound and was a Florida car. Once I drove it home I was driving it for a couple weeks before I started to dig into her. First thing was some maintenance, timing belt and all those other goodies along with plugs wires and a new injector and to top it all off a freshly rebuilt ECU that bitch was going crazy saying I was skipping on all 8 Cyl.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Once that was all sorted I started tearing her down, here is one of the few photos of the actual car;

[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]As far as plans for the car, she is getting Megan coilovers with UAS bag over coils which are a very straight forward install welded up the brackets and assembled in a half hour.

[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Now onto the interior, the audi I kind of rushed it and it wasnt up to par so I decided to slow down with this one seeing that I have a company car, with a little help from the homies we got the guages fitted nice in the ash tray cover

[COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Fired her up yesterday had to small leaks at the back of the gauges which I was expecting because of the angle of the lines but that is all sorted and she holds air over night.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Shaved fenders and installed the camber arms maxed out the eccentrics and adjusted the arms as far as I safely could, still not enough so I plan on taking the upper arms off soon and sectioning them about 30mm. I know you guys are not the biggest fan on MEgan products but hey its what I could afford!

Little blurry but hey you get the picture. This is with just the camber arms installed so I am just waiting on the toe and traction arms in the mail from 9k Racing.[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#64666A][FONT=Georgia]Thats about it for the rears, the fronts are another story I purchased 326 Power RCA's which correct suspension geometry and caster while pushing the wheel out about 15 mm and should allow me up to about 8* in the front. I need to throw on a slip on 2 or 3mm spacer so it clears the big breaks on the front.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Thanks man, have the rest of my rear arms coming in today so hopefully I can have it dialed in by Sunday.

Got the rest of my rear arms in courtesy of 9k Racing. Hopefully can do some more test fitting to see how much I need to pull the quarters. But Saturday I will be down in Atlantic City shooting some cars so I will post up some photos of that as well.

Yea lucky my boy is good at getting in spaces like that so I only had one leak but it was a line that was not plugged in all the way, are mud flaps rare on these or something? I threw them out lol and they came on it so im not too sure if they are oem!

the guards should be a factory option, but i never seen it installed before. i'm sure you can sell them for some chedda!

and removing the cup holder does open up more room under the center console. how did you run the air lines to the back of the car? now that is a tight fit!

I wish I had more pictures, but I did remove the cup holder, seeing that it barley holds anything and believe it or not my a4 didnt come with one. But i took the actual mechanism out and ran lines around it and around the shifter, to the guages. After that around the carpet up through the firewall then back to the trunk. It sounds worse then it actually was.

Updates;

The car is on all four wheels now just need an alignment BADLY and to adjust my suspension properly so it is not so bouncy and also to cut holes for the upper control arms. But enough of that here are some photos!

Haha thanks bros, yea the rear pokes like a mofo just have to adjust the struts to get it to sit fender to lip again and not be so bouncy.

The ones I posted are all I have, he only had 3 wheels on and his drivers side fender is destroyed, soon though.

Got my nagisa arms installed, I would later have to remove them and shorten the bolts so it would sit how it does now. But went out with the homie Kevin 11 and he killed it like always.

So at this point I was thoroughly enjoying the whip and Im lucky enough to have a large amount of friends and acquaintances in the area or are nasty photographers and wanted to shoot something outside of the ordinary Vw and Honda. The next day I ripped off my fenders and took them down to SUPRLIFE in Brooklyn, if you are familiar with some of the east coast drift scene im sure you have heard the name. Dude is extremely humble and worked some magic.

Installed them and bought some new tires. Went to my first show with the car at Lime Rock park, made it there with out a single problem and even took home 2nd place Toyota/Lexus cant complain.

Not exactly sure how it happened, I checked all the bolts before I went to that car show 2 weeks before. Bolt snapped and stripped the hub so not I just got in all 12.9 grade bolts and gonna throw it together quick later tonight. I was just lucky that it happened in my driveway and not with my son in the car or on the road, close call.  Also took this time to see how well my Job Design front bumper fit ;)

[B]Gotta tweak it a little but overall I am very happy, will install it all after paint but this winter it is going to be resprayed all black and I am having new wheels being made. Along with finishing my trunk and some other stupid shit.

On another note I made it into First Class Fitment which would make me 2/3 for shows I wanted to make it into/attend. I made it into Tuner Evo but couldnt get the car ready and time but did not make it into Wekfest, oh well awlays next year. Gotta install my visors and fix the front end but who else is gonna be at the show??
