more photos once i get the suspension on -- i'm waiting for a second box with the front lower mounts to come in. these coilovers are really freaking nice -- inverted monotube fronts, a totally negative camber-biased top mount, and they just ooze quality. japan-made stuff ftw.

i got all the barrels in, but the register on the faces need to be machined to fit inside the barrel hole -- my friend is helping me out with them as a favor so i can't really ask him to hurry them up haha

oh man, totally failed -- the t-demands were spec'd for a v6 y33, so the spindle caliper holes are 12mm. i'm taking them to a machine shop tomorrow to get them bored out to 14mm, then i'll post photos when the car is on the ground.

these are my fronts, just thrown on the rear for this photo haha. the sizing is 18x10 -6 with -6* of camber.

machine shop is so unecessary. coulda been done.

I did my JIC's with a bench vice and a handheld drill.

Coz when we adjusted WHY33 his toe is uncorrectable with stock tie and traction rods

my toe is perfect with stock tie rods, but i have peak performance tension rods. if i wanted any more additional track width up front, i'd have to get longer tie rods.

DUDE i want to do something like that -- LS7 + 6 sp auto haha. run it NA with just some bolt ons and no mufflers <3

so the car's been having a few small issues -- 

1. an oil leak (vc gaskets were replaced a few months ago but it's starting to leak again, oddly enough)
2. driver side HID flickering when hitting bumps
3. super high underhood temps, even though water temp is ok
4. starter is on its way out, it seems -- feels related to the underhood temp issue above
5. weird suspension clunks

i just ordered a replacement OEM HID ballast for the headlight, and i'm going to jack up the car tomorrow to check the subframe to see if it's tight. also might go pick up a new fan clutch, just to be safe. i have a reman starter sitting in the garage -- just need to ask my mechanic friend when he's free.

Check the sway bar end links. They make A LOT of noise when they go. I have to do mine.

hilariously enough, my driver's side HID cutting in and out doesn't seem to be a ballast issue -- i pulled the headlight today and realized  that almost all the bolts/nuts holding the headlight to the car were loose. after fiddling with it for a little bit and checking all the connections, i tightened everything down and haven't had any issues all evening. cool. time to return this ballast i bought off ebay haha

i decided to be a lazy ass and get a TPMS setup for the car, but the TPMS sensors don't fit correctly in the drop center LOL. i'm running out to iforged tomorrow morning to get some TPMS sensor adapters, then we'll see what the tires/wheels look like put together. more to come...

so i broke off the passenger's side downpipe (the one with both cats in it). the pipe where it's welded to the flange cracked all the way through LOL. i replaced it today with some aftermarket replacement joint -- hopefully it doesn't break again haha

T demand Oni camber mounts. Basically put the upper mount underneath the tower allowing more camber to be adjusted in the upper portion without having to chop up the strut tower.

Lol mine did the same thing. Had a misfire, bought eight new coil packs and did the plugs at the same time. Was good for about a month and started doing it again, albeit less severe, won't tell me which coil is doing it so I just said fuck it, let it.

Had to do the knock sensors though. They had cracked in half. Felt like I was driving a fucking lawnmower it was so slow.

You should raise the engine.. I did it on mine while I had it out, raised it about an inch. Very glad I did... now I don't have to worry about the oil pan at all. I just used some very large washers. If you can hoist the engine up enough to get the mount free of the subframe you should be good and not have to disconnect a ton of stuff.

not easy at all, it seems -- if you're all the way negative it looks like you'll have to disassemble the top hat or unbolt the top of the suspension to adjust it. there's no tool access :(
