Now to the good stuff. So after the Hail Storm and dealing with the Insurance companies. House got taken care of and got a good chunk of changes for the G. Paid the car off and used the difference for a down payment for a new car but I got to thinking and decided to buy a car cash instead so I won't have to deal with a payment for a while. So I'm very addicted to Craigslist and I have story of some wheels I got at dirt cheap which I will explain later so neways I got to looking for cars cash. Was thinking of another coupe but I decided to look into a big body 4 door car. Started lookin at the LS430's but a while back I remember seeing a sweet Q45 slammed VIP style...something about that Q just made me want to have one. So I got to searchin. Alot of ppl where selling there hail damage cars at dirt cheap so I took advantage of it. Did some Q45 searchin. I found a white Q45 fully loaded and when I tell you the price I bought this car at..trust me..all I have in this world is my word and my balls. I got this Q at $1800 running. Of course it was a hail damage car w/mechanical issues. Well after fixing the mechanical issues replacing the windshield this baby was running good.

Shortly After I bought the updated JDM headlights and grille from Japan. Total cost $1200 for the headlights and grille. I had my boy hook up the Headlight output 6000k and the fog lights yellow ballast for free....JDM style!

Then I purchased a full complete body kit on Ebay for the meantime for $650 cuz some of them body kits for the Q is whoa nelly expensive! I only have a pic of the test fit of the front bumper.

So about two months ago I got rid of the white Q45 to my younger brother cuz he needed a 4 door car cuz that man had 2 kiddos and had 1 on the way at the time and with him and his girl only sharing one car with 3 kiddos they where in the hunt for a second car so to make things less stressful for them...as a big brother I gave him the keys to my car. At the same time I was eye-ing another Q45 on Craigslist but this one was clean. No hail damage of course..running strong bone stock and fully loaded. So I swapped all the updates from the white Q to the black Q except for the 22 staggered chrome wheels.

So the saga continues on.......

I'm a big wheel wh0r3 and I love to test fit and role on different ones when I get a chance I bought some 22' wheels for $500 with tires just to have something to role on and yes I got these on Craigslist...lmao. For some reason I hate rolling stock wheels..no offense to any one but wheels make a car whether if the car looks ugly or not. The wheels are ok...some like it and some don't....

So since I purchase these 22' wheels and they where black I decided to take the chrome JDM grille off and put the OEM one back on but I did a little modifying and painted the grille myself. I masked the Infiniti logo and gave the grille three coats of black and 4 coats of clear.

So remember the crazy story I said I would mention later in this thread. Well on Craigslist. I came across some used 20x9.5 20x11 Modular Society KF2 and the price I bought these wheels for...drum roll pls.......I got these babies for $450 the set...yes fellas I swear on my life...$450. Of course they need to be refinished but the guy that sold them to me did not know what he had in his hands..of course I couldn't pass the deal so I took these babies home. The only draw back to these wheels is that they are 5x120 but imma take them to a professonial wheel repair shop and have the holes filled and re-drilled to 5x114. and refinished so stay tune. Put the wheels against the wheel to see what they would look like...

So FINALLY, I saw some 3 piece Intro wheels for sale on Ebay and decided to buy these wheels but was really more an impulse buy. Not sure why I bought these...guess it's the wheel wh0r3 in me...It's like one of those nigths when you step out with the fellas to the club and your having a good time..your tipsy and in the zone and you'll prob hit on 3 hot girls and got turned down and then at the end of the club..there's that one ehh girl that's tipsy and in the same zone as you are and she's down..well that's how I felt when I bought these wheels...lol. I since bought tires which by the way are not the size tires I'm really looking for the wheels but they where cheap so why not and so I decided to slapped it on the car for the meantime. I am currently selling the wheels for $1800 if anyone is interested.

seems like you impulse buy a lot. you can take it or leave it, but i'd recommend planning your with quality parts from here on out. we all jump the gun sometimes, but most of us live to regret it. the cheap/knockoff stuff may look similar, but in the end if you're shit aint top shelf you aint stuntin'. i like the 6/3k combo in the headlight and the blacked out grill is nice. the jdm grill would look dope if you masked off outer chrome and murdered the center.

@tony,, so i read your entire blog before i saw any of the pics (they block pics at my work, but i read the story),, i can say that i was really expecting to see some real hood shiz when i checked it from my phone just now, but honestly it was much much nicer than i imagined.  i think it will look much better with those bmw wheels on there.  i think you got a steal on those cars and they look real mean.  that g looked decent with those one wheels on there.

my boy out here in japan has a cima f50 style and it is such a huge car.

Another qik updated....removed the splash guards for more of the sleek look and plasti-dip the door handles to matte black...

Thanks for the compliment bro. This car to me is the king of VIP I personally think so it's taking trail and error with every look. Everyone is different in the forum so I'm doing my best to keep the car in the lines of a VIP set up....after all this forum is about VIP setups so little by little I'm getting there. This VIP stuff ain't cheap either that's why mines is a Very Important Production. Gna redo the Modular Society wheels and slap them babies on the car...was thinking of doing a 21" but decided to stick with 20s. I'll get there....trying to hang with the big boys.

Anyone selling a CIMA hood emblem or can direct me to one? Need one in chrome. Let me know?

So finally...whew...installed the rear bumper..not to bad to install by the way. Decided not to install the side skirts. The OEM  side skirts flow well with the kit. Here's a pic of the rear. Will get the dual exhaust set up manana and will show yall sum pics once that's done.

hey tonyq45, did your rims scrub with the 22s and being that low? how wide are rims and what size tires were you using? are your coilovers maxed out in height? Im getting coilovers and wanna do 22s..are coilovers your only suspension mod?

Sup BigKev915...I had no rubbing issues whatsoever and that's only because I was running 22x8.5 all around with a 245/30/22 tire on all fours. The car was dropped low enough on the coilover setup. Imma a wheel wh0r3 so I was doing trail and error with every wheel option. I like the 22's but I think it's a little to big for my taste. I would do 21" max on the ride but if you have the right body kit for a 22" then go for it. Everyone has there own taste but the key is to keep it classy and VIP. Imma go with a 20" staggered setup with big lips cuz that's how I like my women...lol

So I finally go the exhaust done today. Sounds really nice by the way...not to loud but aggressive. Here are the pics of the setup. Got sum temporary exhaust tips for now.

Quick update...so I mention earlier on my thread that I purchase some used Modulars Society KF2 wheels. Well I finally took them this past Saturday to get them refinished and have the lug pattern redrilled to 5x114. Should be ready in two weeks. Really excited and can't wait. In the meantime I got this in the mail this past Friday.

So I haven't updated my thread as of late. Here's some different wheel set up that I've done within the past six months. Enjoy fellas! 

So in order I painted my wheels. Yes I was messing with the Plastidip. Don't really recommend it on your nice wheels. Was just experimenting. Looks good tho if your gna role oem. Last I purchased some Carlsson 2/6s. Love these wheels. Defintely not plastidippin these. Was gna wait to put them on cuz I wanna to rebarrel these and step lip them but I couldn't resist. Gna rebarrel them later tho. Also added the hood emblem. CIMA BABY!

Go for it brotha. I really think 20in look better on the Q45 anyways...my opinion.....19s look to small on the Q unless your doing a fat lip but then again it's still a 19 inch wheel.

nice! believe it or not, it solves part of the problem. i did mine kind of like that, but i have found you will need a tight 90 degree bend welded on to the header higher up so it runs straight shot by the frame rail. I still hit mine from time to time. you can also raise the motor up a bit to help using some thicker shims on the motor mount.

So a little update fellas. Last pics with these Carlssons which btw are for sale. May need someone to vouch for me since I'm 8 post away from the minimum of 50 post. Anyways, rolling stock for a bit. Little sneek peak on what's wheels are next. Had to step my wheel game up.

Did a little DIY to my taillights.  Not bad..I like the way it came out for now. The good thing now is I can reopen my taillights now without having to cut them open incase I need to mod them again which I will soon. Learning as I go.

No...I tried that the first time but found out that the F50 tails are glued with epoxy. So I had to use a dremmel to cut it open.

So a little update. Back last year I sold my Carlsson 2/6's which was I don't know what I was thinking but luckily I had the chance to buy them back and on top of that I made money off them considering what I sold them for and bought them back for. Sup fellas, so a little update on the Q. I had decided a while back to stop dumping money into my 02 Q45 just because my heart was set on the 05 model. l have been lurking the net for about a good year to find a good deal on a 05 model fully loaded and finally we crossed paths. Found a low mile clean black and latte interior 05 Model fully loaded with the reclining seats, heated and cooled front seats which is a big plus for me given the heat in Texas, automatic trunk and other goodies that my 02 didn't have. I found this one in Marietta, GA so I took quick trip to ATL to pick it up and drive it home. Before I left Marietta, GA the sales guy which was a very resource cat advise me to check out this local diner that had been on the food network called Marietta Diner and this place was the shiznet. Great soul food. Anyways, after my lunch meal I ended up hitting the road back to Dallas, TX. 11hr drive...ugh. Half way thru my trip I stumble to my only issue on the road which I ended up having the drive rear tire swell up on me causing it to vibrate bad. Luckily I was able to discover the problem and ended up spending the night in Jackson, MI. I did check the spare tire it had but that tire was bald so I wasn't gna take a chance. Next day I ended up finding a local tire shop with the tire size that I needed and was back on the road. The next day I immediately went to swapping the JDM headlights and all the interior and exterior L.E.Ds to the 05 model. Big difference. I've always loved the bigger grille and ass on the 05 versus the 02 model. Very glad I finally found one and in black so I can now proceed with this build. Gna take my time as I got a lot to do since I'm trying to squeeze these big ass Veilside Andrews. Stay tune fellas and let the build games begin..

FYI: My 02 Q45 is for sale btw for $6500 as is with stock wheels. Lemme know if your interested.
