new guy from Texas currently in Japan

whats up y'all. new to VCS. my intro is below

 -Where you are from: I'm from Texas but currently in the military and stationed in Japan
 -What vehicle you drive (pictures would be a + ): I got me a silver 1999 Toyota Aristo V300 Vertex Edition (Lexus GS300 in the states) and pic attached
 -What got you into this style: Just the way these VIP styles look, sexy as  hell!!
 -Why you are here: I'm currently in the process to change my Aristo into a VIP style car out here. I've seen quit a few cars out here like this and that's what got me interested in changing my car.

Welcome, I was stationed in Okinawa on camp Foster myself. I was already into imports and cars and when I saw some VIP cars over there I just had to get one too like yourself.

I'm from Houston, TX as well. The VIP scene here isnt as big as it is in Cali or other parts, but anyways welcome.

welcome.  I am here in Okinawa presently as well.  this place got me into vip when I first arrived in 2002.  back in like 2004 the scene was pretty big here, but lately it is pretty much garbage in my opinion.  a few meets a year that include Japanese, but whenever I go to a meet with other americans I am usually like 1 of 2 or 3 other vip cars.

I took 2nd place at a meet a month or 2 back (black majesta).  I was the only all vip styled car and 1st place was a brand new modded civic si.  it was clean as hell (brand new), and modded a good amount, but I didn't think it was a 1st place car.  guess I need to look at it more carefully next time...
